  1. I know of 2 waterfalls within a 20 minute ride, if only the weather would play nice. I don't think that is gonna happen till sometime next week
  2. Not even if it were on my wheel barrow!
  3. Here ya go, info on statewide missions. http://pgrmichigan.org/
  4. No it's not. And I'll donate to your defense fund when you do
  5. That is what the WBC idiots want. You go there and threaten them and they sue you, that's how they finance themselves. The PGR has found the most effective means of making them a non-issue. I am surprised nobody has taken more drastic measures against them yet. I have faced off against those disgusting people many times,,,they make me sick. Too bad the the families must endure this abuse. Joe, If you go to http://www.patriotguard.org/ you can sign up and find out about missions in your area. You only need to show up with your 3x5 flag and a desire to do the RIGHT THING, pay Honor and Respect to our fallen hero's.
  6. I.ve had deer do that to me while I was on the snowmobile but, never on the bike. I did hit one deer in Red Lodge last summer, happened so fast I didn't have time to do much. We got lucky, a little damage to the bike but we were ok. The video sure looks real to me.
  7. I was diggin through the old posts and found this. I thought it was worth another look for all us new people on here.
  8. The company I retired from blocked access to the internet, we had e-mail. Their policy was, you can't control what comes in, so you could open anything. Trouble started when you would forward anything that violated the ethical policy in place. I saw several people lose their job over some stupid e-mail they forwarded.
  9. Think I'll go recycle some beer And watch a hockey game, while I hug my tree
  10. NICE CLOWN CAR When you hit the brakes, it looks like it'll roll over forward.
  11. You need to ask, good or bad? That is a great dog! That's how we all hope our canine friends would act under those circumstances. Now my dog couldn't jump high enough to reach the window. He wouldn't bite ya on the way in, but, on the way out...LOOK OUT.... he'll rip the back of your ankles off!
  12. There are many different grips you can get, one of them should work for you. Gun shows, web stores and your local shop are good places too look. It just takes test fitting to find what works for you. I like single stack in .40 fits me well. When it comes to caliber, BIGGER is better. .38 wheel guns are good on hot days when it's hard to conceal an auto loader.
  13. You mean natures snow shovel !
  14. Looks alot like my Gravely 816 setup with a 38" 2 stage blower. Mine is of 1974 vintage. Wouldn't trade if for 3 of those new machines. I've rebuilt the engine because it wasn't taken care of by the previous owner. The PTO clutch is getting weak, so, thats gonna get replaced in the spring (if it makes it that long). Don, check out this link, someone close by may have what you need . Until then, it'll make a nice snow plow.
  15. I had an ice dam form and start leaking into my livingroom overnight, we awoke to find our couch and carpet soaked, and a hole in the drywall ceiling We may get a small ice dam every now and then, but , with all the snow we have had and a little freezing rain, it had blocked the ridge venting on the roof allowing it to create the ice. Just a little reminder to those that have the ridge venting, look at your roof, if you can't see that the ridge vents are clear, you may be next to have this damage inside your home.
  16. I have the HitchDoc on mine. With the draw bar removed you can't tell there's a hitch installed. I also had a hitchdoc on the Ace Tourer, both are well made and have nice chrome.
  17. That engine's internals look way to clean for this to be an issue of lack of proper maintainance. Hydro lock... no way and I see no evidence of detonation. It looks to me to be a materials failure. I have to wonder if maybe the piston skirt broke and wedged between the the piston and crank counterweight, causing the rod to fail. If you look at the last 2 pics posted, at the 7 O-clock position you'll see a small break where contact was made, that is what makes me have this suspicion. I think, Mama Yama will step up to the plate on this one.
  18. Dave, If I may ask, how many miles were on your motor when it let go ?
  19. More work, with less pay What's the point ? Unless you're just looking to put another feather in your cap. Now mind you this is coming from an old retired guy that's happy with odd jobs for beer and travel money. Best of luck, whichever way you choose.
  20. SO, you're not denying the nitrous eh? I guess I won't be racing you for
  21. Yep, that is a new use. Now you need HEAT to get that red death coated stuff apart Putting in stronger rods that will handle the 200 shot of nitrous ?
  22. See post # 8 at the link below. Describes common rod failure causes. http://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?p=3093500
