    A good friend of mine has a Vic Vision.Great bike but a bit ostentatious for me.He rode by me and the bike has a unique awesome exhaust note. He complains of wind buffeting at highway speeds. I hear they are a nice bike to ride and very well balance. I would not say it is a quick as any of the Venture family.It sure is a head turner though. Ray:cool10:

    I am a short gaunt of the QEW near 427. I am not sure if there are others in my area. Cawthra rd and Queensway would be great for me.

    You could have problems in your rear master cylinder.it might want a rebuild.You should pay the 12 :bucks and become a member.You will get all the help you could ever ask for.!!!

    It is nothing that age could not cure.The movement in the speedo can run sluggish over time.Sometimes when they heat up they work better.You could try changing out your speedo for another one and see if you have the same result..

    When I had my 83 I changed and bled all my brakes.It was a bit tricky but when you figure out how to do it, it only takes minutes.I used a hand bleeder to do my front left brake.Once I cleared out all the old fluid, it was a snap.

    I had a 83 Venture before I bought my ST1100.St1100 are reasonably priced and easy to get parts for. A great bike for technical riding and very low in maintenance.Also owning one I can tell you they get great fuel mileage.I can go about 500 kms on a tank.But I still want to get another first Gen again.Love the old bikes.Conny's are great too as well as FJR's.Ps ( very fast too) hehehe:backinmyday:

    Hi Jack This is a big job.You have to be patient.The bad thing is you will not know what the problems are until you take the pipes off.Good luck with this.
