    What Margaret said. And these things are very heavy. Slow speed handling is very different from what you had years ago. Find a big parking lot and practice, practice. If you len it too far it is gone you can not hold it. Learning that point is very interesting. But they are GREAT bikes when you get used to them. GOOD LUCK and WELCOME!!!

    Down time is rough Earl but listen to the Docs AND DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU!!! Just listening don't help much:whistling: Hope it gets better quick for you. These guys made me laugh when I was lying there with busted Ribs, shoulder, leg and few other things!!! HURT LIKE HELL!!!

    I have gotten in the high 40's on a 83 and broke 50 on a 85 and 86. I never got over 40 on my 84 but I ran it like I stole it.

    Our Governor rides a hardley once or twice a year. Ought to help us someway!! We do have a few more signs.

    Last time I lost one that was still a fairly cheap item at Stealers. I check that thing now once in a while to make sure it is tight.

    Oh Karl there is a difference in 83 and 84 carbs. Vacum port is in different place for boost I think it is.
