There's nothing to check, that's the way it is...it's a Dodge!

Hmmm...I was always told the grass was always greener over the septic tank.

I think I'll stick to the cassette player, carbs, and non-ABS braking system.

3rd shock option for 2nd gen
1 Canuck replied to 67mini67's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I think it is listed in picture as Part M62097. I put it in the search field and it came up as 99-2001 Venture. Maybe I'm wrong? -
I use our dog to interpret.

Hey...maybe an RSV with an improved cassette player with an upgrade to variable venturi carbs? That's what I'm talkin about! Ok...perhaps a rebuildable rear shock. Is that too much to ask?

Very interesting and a great write up! So much easier when someone else does it.

Been there several times. The prep work I think was the worst part. I woke up each time on the table while they were doing it (sedatives don't work well on me). You've got a big screen TV in front and you've got the best view in the room (of everything). I asked the Dr a lot of questions while he's doing it; about what he's looking at, what's this, what's that? I even asked if he could give me a picture of my insides, and he did...likely just to shut me up? Some doc's just don't have any humor. But I guess if I was lookin up everybodies a**, maybe I wouldn't either? The next one is next year; but I don't mind because I've had too many friends and acquaintances hit by the big "C". Think of it this way...it's a lot better than getting a root canal and it may save your life?

Good one!

Venom's seem to be ok in the rain or wet roads...just wish I could get more than 2000 mi out of them before they start sidewall cracking and replacing them. Oh ya, that's another thread.

They are definitely not close nipples.
-
You've just learned now what a nipple is?

Right place at the right time, doing the right thing!

Is this thread over yet? It was quite entertaining although.

I speak from experience and wearing a helmet when I do. LOL

Honest honey... me and the boys only had a few beer and I have no idea know HOW that happened? OR Don't leave the keys where the wife can find them when she's PMSing.
-
All of them! Sorry!

Guess I was a little late with my question? Oh well.

Ok...maybe everyone knows but me, but what is it you do as a Field Tech? That's a lot of miles and a ton of customers. That map with all the triangles and circles looks like it would be all the donut shops in Ontario. Actually, there may be more triangles still needed to do that.

So what is the purpose of a crotch rocket on the street?
1 Canuck replied to 1 Canuck's topic in Watering Hole
That just ain't right! The good thing...I don't think they'd be able to pass anyone in the same lane? -
Ok...so what is the purpose of a crotch rocket on the streets and highways? I've been passed once again in my lane on the highway by some crotch rockets, while I was doing 105km's in a 90 zone. What's with that? Are they sold at the dealerships to specifically race on he road? Are they for the dreamer that pretends he is part of the AMA? Is it so he can attract attention for everyone to see him speed? Is it the ultimate adrenaline rush, fun and need for speed? I suppose everyone has a reason and I'm glad that we have the freedom to buy these things, but what is the purpose? Endangering someone's life is not a rush. I would like to live a long life without someone's help to end it sooner. End of rant!

Looks like Kitt from Knight Rider destroying itself? I'll shut-up now.

You're going to think I'm out in left field on this one, but for years I have been using a thin piece of fine steel wool over the trailer ball. It keeps the coupler and the ball clean, free of rust and you'll always have a good ground. When the steel wool wears out I use another thin piece. However, it does develop very fine scratches or a tarnish look on your chrome ball, but that doesn't really doesn't bother me any.

Using the logo off that cassette player that is laying around
1 Canuck replied to Cougar's topic in Poor Man Tips and Fixes
Not a good idea! Yamaha will just recycle them by continuing to use them in their newer models. -
These Yamaha cassette decks will last forever! They should last even longer than than the bike. Maybe that's because almost no one uses them?
