Ditto on what everyone has said so far. Great to read that you have a positive attitude and it Will get better. I don't think I would have felt a thing if that was to happen to me...I would have passed out before the needle reached my eye or would have decked the doc first.

Be sure to check out our new HST...pay more here in Ontario and get less! Oops, wrong thread?

I do a lot of highway driving for work and there have been an amazing amount of highway accidents here in northern Ontario this year; many due to drivers falling asleep. Maybe it's because of the open roads, less traffic, beautiful weather, long trips between towns? I wish people that were tired would pull over and take a snooze or break. Glad to see he was off his bike when this accident happened...obviously, not his time.

When my RSV shows that I am traveling at 75 MPH, the GPS shows that I am really traveling about 68 MPH. Goose Sweet! Due to my speedo error; if my speedo odometer shows 7,500 miles, I actually have less than that amount mileage accumulated. This would also be relative to fuel economy; actual lower mileage per gal due to odometer error? Not sweet.

I'm sure there's a lot more to the story after an investigation is done.

Nice video. I was out that way last year and I was amazed by how flat SK is. I guess what they say is true," you can watch your dog run away for 2 days straight".

Some people just have all the luck!

Hope so.

I really feel your frustration...looks like my new Avon Venom tires. They started cracking in the same place and that was just the beginning. The dealer gladly replaced them with no with no questions asked. You've only got two wheels and you need them both. Just my 2 cents. -
Glad you're ok ;likely not the first time he has used that lane to pass?

Just a thought...since your dealer says synthetic is no good, I would ask them, why does Yamaha sell 100% synthetic with their name on it? Personally, I would use dino oil for the first 2 oil changes so the engine would break/wear in, then switch to a synthetic proper grade oil made specifically or suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches. If you don't feel comfortable after with the synthetic, then switch back. I'm sure there are other ideas and opinions...but that's my 2 cents.

Where's the rest of it, kinda looks like half a meat pie? No matter, looks reeeeal good. Throw some ketchup on her, and you got yourself some good eatin'. Got to get me one of them pasties one day.

Unfortunately, it sounds like service is crap almost everywhere that deals with cars and bikes. It seems like there is always someone out there to rip you off of your hard earned money, and then they complain of work being slow. If you catch them in a lie they deny it; if you tell them you're being taken, they will deny that too and make excuses. If you can find good and honest service, pay the extra that they may charge and recommend them to everyone. We seem to always hear a lot about the horror stories and rip-offs that we should avoid and hear less about the recommended good places. In this forum I think it is pretty well balanced.- 30 replies

Yep...I know the feeling! Wish my wife and I could both attend but work got in the way big time.

You're right! Man... am I out of the loop; we don't manufacture anything over here (or very little) in N.A anymore, for car parts.

China basically went overnight from everyone having a bicycle or moped to owning a car. I guess this is what happens when vehicles are introduced? We could sell them some American cars...at least we'll keep in business making lots of replacement parts.

Yep...if you want it done right, I get her to do it. That way she doesn't point out all the areas I've missed when cleaning it; and then asks me how could I have not seen it? I never complain on how hard she works and always compliment her on a job well done.
