  1. Yup, we told ya!!!!! Great news!
  2. Well, so far no change except I don't feel half dead any more, so the antibiotics are doing something. I see my doctor again this afternon, and my foot specialist tomorrow. Even though it doesn't look any better it doesn't look any worse either! Ben, yes I am soaking with epsom salts. Here's what I did. Man, I'm really bored...
  3. Many thanks to all of you!! I was cleaning out my gardening shed when it happened. There were a few nails left over from when I did the roof on it, and I just swept them into a garbage bag from the shelf. One must have missed the bag, and just my luck I stepped on it!
  4. Not a good time to buy with prices at record highs!! Great time to sell...
  5. Sunday I stepped on a rofing nail around 1:0 and with my periferal neuropathy I didn't feel it. I noticed it around 5:30 when I came in for the day and my sock was stuck to my shoe. As I was walking across the floor I noticed I was leacving a small blood trail. Monday morning all seemed reasonably well so I went to work. Big mistake. As the day progressed I felt sicker and aicker, and when I got home my toe that got the nail in it was all inflamed. Called my doctor last night and he gave me a prescription for some antibiotics. Went to the doctors today, and it does not look good. They gave me a shot of a second antibiotic and a prescription for a third antibiotic. I'm staying home the rest of the week on DB, and have to go back to the doctor's on thursday. I really do not want to loose another toe, this one is on the other foot, so please pray for me!!!
  6. Nice looking scoot!! Now enjoy riding it!!
  7. Me thinks ya done good!!!
  8. Yup!! Sad truth, you have to swap out forks and calipers, but it is a mod well worth it in increased stopping power!
  9. Awwww, man, don't let Buffalo Bodner see this, he wishes his new scoot was all black...
  10. Idoit drivers that their hand must brush against the turn signal lever as they are turning the wheel! You know, the ones that signal for a lane change AS they are changing lanes! Automated phone systems!! Excuse me, I called to talk to a real persaon, not a machine. Of course, there are times I have a more intelligent conversation with the machine than the actual person I finally get to talk to...
  11. Hmmmm, maybe we should fix Carl up with Kenny?!!?
  12. Uhhhh, trade it in on a 1st Gen MK1??? K&N air filters and a free flow exhaust helps just a tad, there are some aftermarket TCI';s that claim to help out a little. Hey, stock is faster than a Harley except for the VRod and the Boss...
  13. I think it looks a lot nicer than the Voyager kit, and is a cost effective alternative to going "real" trike...
  14. Yah!! We hate loosing a family member even if they loose their scoot temporarily!! We would miss you if you leave so keep posting scoot or no scoot!!!
  15. Yah!! I think Earl did all right even if it does end up being parted out!! Great price for what it is! He says it's a 1200 but the picture shows a MK2...

  20. On a 2008? Yes we do, take it back to the dealer and get a new fairing under warranty!! Unless you dumped the bike, it is a poor dealer installation of the windshield and should, and will be replaced by a reputaqble dealer!!
  21. Why ask WHY?????
  22. Congratulations to Father Time and Marca!!!
  23. OK, Why??? Because...
  24. Well, while you have the fairing split, besides the biggie of cleaning all the connectors and appling dielectric grease as previously noted, how about installing a nice new HID headlight bulb???
