Called Doctor today, the tests are and Echocardiogram and a Carotid Doppler.

I'm calling the Doctor tomorrow to find out what kind of test it is. My Son and my friends are asking and asking what kind of test so I'm finding out. Guess I look at it like I'm not a Doctor and He is so I just go along with it. It reminds me of when people would bring their cars to my shops to get fixed they knew nothing about cars. But when you tried to tell them whats wrong they all of a sudden were experts. So I trust this Doctor and tend to just wait until tests are done and listen to what he says after he gets the results. Will know tomorrow.

Had to go in today for some pre admission tests for my back surgery. First was simple EKG for the heart. Was told something was not quite right and they had to set me up with another type of heart test. (he said the name but I have no clue to what it was) Asked him what was wrong and he did not want to talk about it until the other test is done. Talked to his assistant Kathy after she made the appointment for the test and she said the test is for blood flow. Said they don't want to loose me during surgery. So that test is next Monday and if all is well they will continue with the other pre addmission tests. Sure gives me something to think about for a week. This getting old is just no fun anymore.

The reverse drill bit worked for me. Busted a bolt and squidy told me to get a reverse bit. Soon as I started drilling the broken bolt backed itself out. Harbor freight or any tool store of that type has them. Bit cost me $4.00.

I just look for the $29.95 per night signs BUT on the way to the Hub this year stayed at a Doubletree and didn't want to leave. Better then my bed at home.

. Actually, I am from Oregon and I kind of miss the s***. Oh yes, getting up early to shovel your way to the cage. Then shovel your way to the road. Then when you get home after the snow plow has come by and left that nice 4 foot mound at the end of the drive so you can shovel your way back in. I guess you don't know what you got till it's gone. But I'd like to find out.

Thanks for all the kind words. Painting it? Not a bad idea. Might take it to my friend that owns a body shop. Look and feel stupid wearing it anyways, might as well go all the way.

Got a call from Neurosurgeon and back surgery scheduled for November 2nd. So getting bike put up and everything else in order best I can to be ready. Will be in hospital 5-10 days and then months of wearing a huge fiberglass brace. Brace makes you feel like a fool it's so big you have to wear it over your clothes with only sweat pants and tee shirt under it. Will have to quit eating to pay all the co-pays. Seems anyone that sticks their head in the door and asks "how you doing" sends you a bill. Enough of this wish me luck.

My daughter's friend Father was a supervisor in construction in Genesee County and 2 years ago the company he worked for closed up. He looked on the internet and within a week had 15 job offers in 5 States. He chose S.Carolina and moved. He thought he was starting at a entry level but when he got there they made him foreman and within a month was a supervisor. Not sure just what he does for them now but it's all in a office now. Says moving is the best thing he has ever done. No more worry about if he will be working the next day and how to pay the bills. Says family happerier then they have been in many years. He had to do like most have to, go down and buy a house and just leave this one. He felt bad about it but had no choise. Good Luck to you.

Mine did the crazy idle just like yours. Found a problem with one of the carb diaphragms. Fixed it THEN sync carbs because that one was way off after repair and idle good after that.

Surgeon kept telling me 6 hours, 6 hours, I told him does not matter to me I'll be asleep. Last one was 7 hours and 2 weeks in Hospital.

Supposed to get down to 31F by Thursday here in Michigan. Time for the price of gas to go up so our heating bills can go sky high.

Went to the Neurosurgeon today to find out the results of the tests that was done. Need more surgery due to the degenerative bone disease and now scoliosis. He has to take out the screws and rods that's in my back now and replace them with longer rods, new screws, and spacers. Has to go up 3 more vertebra. 6 hour operation and 4-7 days in Hospital. Have to check Abigail's school schedule and make arrangements for someone to take care of her and get her to school for up to 7 days. Just hope it helps as good as it did in 2005, lost weight, felt great, and got around real good for 2 years.

Another beautiful day and had nothing to do. Didn't ride anywhere, bike still broke. I will NEVER own another bike that I can't get parts for. Even though I rode it over 10,000 miles this year when it's fixed it's gone. 2 gen. time.
