Tried to go to the Brewery 3 times yesterday but it kept raining. Finally had to take the cage. Had to make sure they still brewed beer didn't I ?

There would be plenty to do for Adults and kids. Go Karts, miniture golf, a walk thru outdoor zoo that was just featured on Great Getaways, a Dinner that Hollywood just used for filming for a new movie thats coming out. Birch Run prime Outlet Mall, John's reataurant that's been on the travel channel and food network 3 or 4 times. ( a must go place) Dixie Motor Speedway is just down the road and they race on Fridays. Then of course there is Frankenmuth. There's also a campground a couple miles away that has full hook-ups. Out enough to be in the country but close enough to be able to buy anything you may need.

If you move on with this I will help in any way I can. I live between you and Millington on Kearsley Lake. If you are talking about the track on Birch Run Road there are plenty of motels and restaurants close by.

If you looking in Chattanooga you may want to consider North East Alabama, tax base much better and you get a lot more house for your money. I have a lot of web sites for looking up information and housing in that area if you need it. In fact when the Daughter and I leave the hub we are heading to NE Alabama and meet with my Real Estate agent down there. I'm working at a Feb. or March move if all possible. Last time I was overwhelmed by all the good deals available in houses. I plan on renting while I look. Good Luck, about anywhere is better then Michigan.

We hope to be at the Hub by noon on the 4th. (cannot leave until banking done on 3rd) Question: On the 6th, is that the day for everyone to leave or do most people leave the morning of the 7th. Reason: We plan on leaving the Hub and heading to Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama for 2 nights, so trying to plan itinerary. Then heading to the Dragon and Pigeon Forge for one night......Thanks

Ic23b, you still around Flint Town or did you bail out too? Yes still here but trying to move to Alabama as soon as I can get money right. Was in Bad Axe for 10 years but came back here in 2001. Lunch is always good. Might of been your old 1st gen I saw the other day in Genesee. Looked just like it.

( I was leading the pack back to my place when one of the guys hit a dog...ring any bells?) I haven't met you yet but it was Gary (99silver) who hit the dog. I saw the damage the next day. Gary is computer challenged at the moment or I'm sure he would of answered. And the Brewery is open now.

Need to try and raise the passenger foot pegs 6" to 8" on mt 83VR for my Daughter before riding to the hub. Her feet touch now but her legs rests on the side bag mounting bars and hurts after just a little bit of riding. Long time ago I saw a rear peg that had a chrome piece that fold up and down on it that would add about 4" in height. Any Ideas?

My 83 whines but the bike is new to me also so I don't know if half the sounds I hear are normal or not. Did all the maintenance and updates and repairs I could find, so I guess mine is just a whiner. -

Yes It was a simple oil question, I was worried about oil leaks if I changed. As far as my comments on the millage I get on my own cars I was just answering a question. BUT look in you owners manual and see what it says about how often to change you oil and your cars. -

My 89 Tarus had 280,000 miles, my 92 Pont. mini-van had 360,000 miles before they were retired. (no engine problems) and my current 95 Pont. mini-van has 240,000 miles and I NEVER change oil under 8,000 miles. 10w-30 Valvoline. And before you all start on me I was an Auto Servece Manager for 33 years and oil is a lot different then it was 20 years ago. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. -
I can't believe it. TODAY me and my bike had to take the ferry boat to Harsen's Island and I didn't even think about taking a picture until I got home tonight. Lost opportunity.

First hope you got home OK after your trailer problems. Must of been a great deal in Vermont to pass by that 1st gen for sale in your own back yard, about 500 ft. north of the Blue River. Now the WOW part. That's sure a beautiful area of Michigan you live in. From St. Clair south to Algonac everything was so clean and well kept, and riding along the river had marvelous scenery along with all the Women in their bikini's. Took the ferry to Harsen's Island and that was a nice ride in it's self. Make a nice little ride for a summer meet and eat. Good luck on the new scoot.
