Well Just made it back. It was a little longer trip then I thought. muffinman and I decided to help Tim out with a few home repairs....... we tackled some wiring issues and ended up doing that most of the day. Tim you have some problems over there but we will schedule some other time to get that stuff up to snuff. as far as the Colortune. and after a 240 mile ride back home. i did notice a huge differance with throttle response. i had thought my clutch was starting to ware a little. When i was in 5th the bike seemed a little slugish before the CT. But that is all gone. even though the mountians on I64 in VA the bike was quicker and no longer slugish. the bike also rode much smoother. i have 43,000 miles on the bike and I guess it was time to do this. I only picked up about 3-4 miles per gallon but the bike rides much better. I'll see how things go next weekend when i ride to Atlanta for the meet and eat and rep[ort back. I agree with Salty Dawg that while you have the plugs may as well change them if the haven't been changed in a while. Thanks to Tim and Renee for making this a very memorable easter weekend. Thanks to muffinman and Mini-Muffin for the colortine. And thanks to Beer30 for being Beer30:confused24:

Nice photos. I must say that Australia is one of the few countries that I would like to visit one day. Being on a bike would just make it that much better. I must say that You have good taste in bike colors:whistling: I have only one brother and four sisters and none of them ride so i kind of envy you being able to ride with your sibilings. My sibilings just look at me and think I'm crazy for riding motorcycles. They don't understand. When my mom visits she usually wants to go for a short ride. She is 70 and says that its fun to do once a year.

Pitbull Have had Bead riders http://www.beadrider.com/ on my bike for a couple of summers. I just love them. In the winter you will get Ice down there if you use them. I bought them in the winter and tried them then. after about 2 mins i stopped and took them off. That was when I relized that they allow for max air circulation. Dawg, I am a corbin seat owner and lover. you know me that a 500 mile meet and eat is a norm. I have done the iron but with the beads and the corbin.

Yeah, Popeye He is still riding his new 2nd Gen. The speed switching from a 1st gen might have gone down alittle but the comfort has just been lifted:stirthepot:

If you have offended anyone, they really have a problem. You don't need to apoligize for doing a great thing. Sounds like everyone is going to benefit from an event like this the warriors and the public.

Removing the water pump cover
Riderduke replied to a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Installed my water pump cover yesterday. Only lost about a Quart of coolant. All of the coolant lost was out of the radiator. I had to pull the tank and add coolant to the radiator. It's Not hard to do. As Kit says: "just go for it." -
Sounds like a potential Meet and Eat. With The Mechanic as entertainment:clap2:

Jeff now that I see how low the deck was you made a great choice in putting down pavers. It will also increase the value of your house more since it is a maintenance free patio. Nice job looks great
