  1. "Spiders" are automated scripts used by Google, Yahoo, etc. to rank you in the search engines. Googe Adsense is part of the Google search engine. They browse the site basically to see what the content is all about and use that to know what kind of ads to use in the left menu where I have the Google ads listed.
  2. Looking forward to your review. Thanks.
  3. I would bet that we see a similar two-wheeled scooter and then motorcycles before too long. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,506768,00.html
  4. I mentioned a couple or so months ago that the company had changed my area around. I had lost my part of New York and they gave me Indiana instead. Then about two weeks ago, they told me that they were hiring a new guy in the Chicago area and since Indiana had once been part of that area, they were going to give it back to him. Soooo.....I canceled all my Indiana trips and decided to concentrate on Pennsylvania in March. So upon returning from PA today, I had an email telling me that they had decided to give Indiana back to me and that PA would be going back to the guy that covers Eastern PA. So....now I'm back to Indiana. That's not enough though, they also decided to take West Virginia away from me so no more West Virginia trips for me either. THEN....they gave me all of Michigan except for the Upper Peninsula. I also covered Kentucky as far west as Somerset, I now have the entire state of Kentucky. So.....I'm so confused now that I no longer know where to go. Hey...with all the news lately about folks losing jobs...I am very thankful that they are just shifting my territory around.

    Trike Fun

I had no idea how much fun the trikes can be. I know there will be two or three at Maintenance Day....maybe I can borrow one of them and try some of this stuff out. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYnP6tifNM8]YouTube - IBEX Trike built by B. Goat[/ame]
  6. Did you ever find out what kind of synthetic oil they put in it? I always find these reports of slippage after changing to synthetic oil a bit puzzling as I've been running it for almost 10 years in two different RSVs with no problems.
  7. OK folks...I don't usually do this because the thread IS where it should be. But this is a very good deal for those of you who need them or who may need them in the future so please check out the following thread. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32943
  8. Heck....wish I could say that I'm happy for you. I am happy that you got it sold so quickly but really hate that you had to sell it. Hope you will consider still coming to maintenance day, with or without a bike, it wouldn't be the same without you.
  9. WOW...that is GREAT news Sqeeze. I had no idea you were going to be here putting up tents. It will be great to meet you in person.
  10. Yea, I just got home after being in the Altoona, PA area all week. 64 here right now...I am dog tired and it looks like rain at any moment but I MAY try to get a much needed ride in. It's been several months for me.
  11. Bob, I'm sure that many members here appreciate the parts that you have made available but PLEASE use the classifieds for this purpose and NOT the forums. In the classifieds, they will eventually expire. When posted here, I sooner or later have to spend HOURS finding and deleting the such old posts to conserve space.
  12. No argument here. The white '88 is my favorite first gen. If that color had been available when I bought my '99, I would be riding that instead of the silver.
  13. Be very careful about that. I've seen several do it but I've seen several front fenders damaged because of it. The suspension can compress a lot more than you think.
  14. I think that most of us have gone with 7.5%. That seems to put it very close. This in on the RSV but I suspect the RSTD is the same. On the RSV, the connector is under the left side cover. Very easy to install.
  15. Heck..I used to have that site bookmarked but I can't find it now.
  16. Yes, I've bought a few things from Pinwall and they have always been great. I've also been to their retail store a couple of times, very impressive. All parts and parts bikes that have not yet been torn down are stored indoors.
  17. Max, I don't know anything about the Alumna trailer. There are a lot of good trailers on the market and I've certainly got nothing bad to say about any of them. I don't know what the price range is of the Alumna. Bushtec is at the upper end of the price range but in my opinion, there is not a better trailer on the market. They have an adjustable air suspension that completely eliminates any bouncing whether the trailer is loaded or empty. Their workmanship is excellent and if you get it colored matched to your bike, they do a fantastic job matching it. Some people will tell you that spending that much on a trailer is crazy. That is a matter of opinion as we all place different priorities on such things. There are many trailers that will get the job done and some of them are very nice indeed. You can't go wrong with a Bushtec though.
  18. I had almost that same drive train in a '71 Super Cheyenne truck. Loved that truck and wish I had it back. It also had hooker headers, 650 Holley and shift kit. 350 bored to 383, 202 straight port heads, aluminum medium high rise intake. Sort of hard to tell with this picture but it was a short/wide bed. It also had the factory tilt wheel and factory tach in the dash.
  19. My wife bought me a Tom Tom 2 for Christmas. It is bluetooth output only, no audio out jack. I ended up taking it back and replacing it with the 550. Other than the audio out jack, it was a nice unit.
  20. I could pick them up for you. I get all over Ohio.
  21. I can already see this thread heading down the wrong path. Once the conversation includes liberals, conservatives, etc......it's just a matter of time.
  22. Yea, here is the link to the other one. http://www.jwww.com/razor/
  23. Thanks for the heads up. I deleted that one.
  24. OK...I'm NOT a girl BUT...I think that's a good looking little bike but one that you might outgrow very quickly. Honda made a 450 Rebel for about 3 years back in the mid eighties, it was a really nice little bike and I don't know why in the world they stopped making it. Otherwise, I would recommend that you go down to the local shops and sit on a few different bikes. I really think you would be happier with something in the 500cc range.
