  1. Don't know yet. I've kinda been trying to forget that but I still have this haunting imagine. I took the bike in to have the cruise control fixed, and rear shock replaced because it will not hold air longer than couple of days, sometimes less. I found out from someone else who took a bike to them. And supposedly the reason it would not run was "He BLEW-A-CARB" !! I would like to know what that means?
  2. When I call this a.m. I am going to tell them to leave the bike alone. I will be over to pick it up. There is a member here who has told me that he would synch my carbs. And I trust him more than any dealer for sure. I haven't ask him yet, because he does so much for so many. And he's under-the-weather right now. You all know him right ECK !!!!!
  3. The service manager wants me to call him back tomorrow. I wish I had got the message before they closed today. After telling me I only have one carb, I dont' want them touching them now. When I call tomorrow I going to ask him if he's sure it only has one carb. If he says yes when I go and pick it up I'm going to show him in YAMAHA MAMA's owners manual that they have more than one. I am really worried that they will not have fixed any of the issue I had correctly. If they continue with these types of replies, I will make a lot of noise before I leave. Another VentureRider took his bike to these idiots today also. I wish I could have got in touch with him before he did. Will be interesting to see what they say about his bike.
  4. No, Not the one here in Huntsville. But Close!!!
  5. I took my 06 RSTD in to the dealer today to have the cruise control worked on. I asked that they synch the carbs. I have been out all day since I dropped it off. When I came in I checked my messages and had one from the dealer (I will leave the dealers name unkown until I have a chance to see what else they come up with). Quote from the service manager "Techs say they cannot synch my carbs because I have only ONE". Am I worried about what else they are supposed to do! You Bet!
  6. I am one of the Toecutter Clan. "Ol' Pretty Boy Robert of the Toecutters MC. Pretty I AIN'T !
  7. It's not what you ride, it's that you ride and enjoy it! I can't say that my RSTD is in the forefront of technology. But, it is a good dependable ride.
  8. Hello,

I have an 05 RSTD set up solo also, and would love to see the mods that you made to your air boxes.

    Steve

  9. That was me. Feel free to contact me. I am sure my email address is in my profile. But, if not it is Lynnmosley@bellsouth.net. It was good to meet and talk with you and your Dad. Grey Fox
  10. Okay, for the sake of a good argument (LOL), the geographical center of the lower 48 states is Lebanon, Kansas.
  11. I have beenwanting to do the same and would also like some pics if possible of the finished project. Thanks
  12. I would be interested in one. I agree with another post, it would be nice to have a detachable truck, sissy bar or go solo.
  13. 5 psi front, 15 psi rear solo, 25 psi two-up, 38 psi front tire rear 42psi always.
