    the bike is o 2004 venture. the brake lights flash when i use the turn signals. it is not wired for a trailer but i had a harley rear light set hooked in by the plate. That quit working so took it off to eliminate a problem. the brake lights work fine but when I use the turn signal the brake lights flash instead of the turn signals.

    my rear blinkers are not flashing. the front ones work fine. when i use the blinker either to left or right my brake light flashes and the blinkers dont ??? whats the problem and where do i start? thanks in advance steve

    i did for a few years but i let my membership expire. it was not for me. if you like standing around dealership open houses and going to meetings and spending all day going 150 miles or less and stopping every 20 miles for bathroom, smoke breaks, etc.. if i am going to leave the house at 8 and be home at 6 or so i like to do a little more riding.i also did not like the 2++ hour lunch and bs stops and not being able to have a beer or a drink with my lunch.i found it to be more of a stand around and bs about riding but not riding much at all. there was always new people that would show up that just bought a new bike and a very little or no riding experance which i understand you have to start somewhere but alot of the people could hardly ride their bike, fall over, or could not work the clutch on thier bike and keep killing it. for me it seemed on the rides that there was always a few that could hardly ride their bike and wuold be riding 15 to 25 miles under the speed limit and could not stay up with the group.to me that was just unsafe. the chapters i found are mostly the 55+ crowd. go for it and have fun i met some really nice people and you can go to some meetings and go on a couple rides for free to see if you like it before you have to pay.

    here are the pics and links.i bought mine from koso and payed 152.00. i am sure you can get them at your dealer or parts house. i meet a guy at a poker run that had the one. he said he got it for 125.00 from the place that does his service on his bike and he had them put it on. i know koso egt gauges are really popular with the snowmobile racers i see a lot of them using them. i first saw them at a show and talked to the rep a few years ago. its like anything else you buy, buy a ford and you notice all the fords. they have alot of really neat gauges. i know every once in while that sombody hear is looking for a gear indicator for there bike koso makes them to. the needle looks faded in the pic but it is not , it is lit up, but my cheap camera does take good pics http://kosonorthamerica.com/ [ATTACH]55389[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]55390[/ATTACH]

    another option is one made by koso. i have had it for 3 years and it works great. the reason i went with it is because it has a built in water or oil temp in it so it is 2 gauges in one.

    i have polk401s and i also put the boom mats behind the speakers and used bass blockers .i bought everything from cruthfield . i can really tell the differance. with the bass blockers it takes out some of the low bass that causes distortion. hope this helps

    motorsports!!! stock car racing vintage snowmobile racing truck, tractor pulling and all the little projects in the shop that will only take an hour or two,ya right, ten hours later!!! if it burns the evil fossil fuel and you can race or drive it iam in!! oh and i cant forget sitting in my shop with buddies having a beverage and sloving all the worlds problems while getting smarter,faster and better looking by the hour after just ONE more!!! or maybe 4

    i have a pair of stock mufflers for a 04 venture. i want to trade a guy for of samsons off a 06 tour delux. i am pretty sure they are the same but is there anyone that can confrim it. thanks steve

    thanks everyone for your help!!! i just get nervous on new to me things i buy and always think the worse. anyway when i got it i changed out the fluids,all filters and plugs,well i know you guys are laughing now, cause i am sure you guys know what i did.. here we go and yes i am eating crow!!!! i bent the little green wire on the bullet plug and had it almost off the post when i changed the plugs!!!! 2 minute fix and i am good to go now!!!! dingy thanks so much for the pics!!!! and thanks again to everybody. all i can say is i just love this site

    Black Owl the raidiator is full. Dingy, I will pull the plastic and check the connections out. Thank you so much for the pics! Dingy, its so much easier to see what a guy is looking for to correct the problem. Rocket, great suggestion, i willl start with the easy first. Thanks everybody for your help... I will let you know what happens when I tear into it tomorrow.

    i just bought a few weeks ago, an 88 white royal and i just love it. i have a white 04 2nd gen that i thought needed some company in the garage. i really havent driven the 04 since i bought the 88. now i know what you 1st gen guys are talking about,but anyway before i start a fight here is what i need some help with. i was riding last weekend with a strong head wind i was was going 70-75 and the temp gauge started bouncing down, got out of the head wind did not do it again. on monday it would do it at 50-60 and quit working, but, in town or at a stoplight, it would work fine. today it wont work until i am almost stopped, if i get on the front brakes hard to stop it will work but as soon as i take off it will quit.i stopped in a parking lot pushed down hard on the front end and it worked but as soon as the shocks rebouned it quit. will my cooling fan still work in town if the gauge doesnt work? what i really want to know is in simple laymans terms where should i start looking for the loose wire. i dont want to take it to the stealer and pay for some kids education on a bike that he has never worked on. i sure someone on here can point me in the right direction,but, i dont want to start really tearing up everything on the bike.right now everything else works flawlessly,the air ride,cruse control,cb,radio, and i dont want to create more problems for myself, or if somebody knows a good mechanic that they could recommend i live about 1 hour south of mpls. mn. thanks

    i got mine today tanks earl!! but i dont have any insturctions with mine, does anybody know were the pics and instuctions for skydocs kits are on the form here or maybe a link. i can wait to put it in. thanks
