Well it's sold folks. Ponch has spoken for the Zumo and Gary N. is the new owner of the XM receiver.

I just looked it up. It's painful. About $1500.00.

Need info on 1st gen rear brakes
Freebird replied to jeffcity2's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Hopefully somebody else here can verify but from my parts cross reference list, it appears that any caliper from '83-'85 would work. -
Folks...I've got a member here that wants to buy just the XM receiver/antenna. I don't want to split it up unless somebody wants the Zumo without the receiver. I will sell it separate for $400.00 if anybody is interested.

Tripod, It was decided by the membership several years ago to remove them. They seem to cause some folks to post for the sole purpose of bumping their numbers up. Heck....we don't care HOW much anybody posts but it had almost become a game to some.

Well folks, I've had my Zumo 550 listed in the classifieds for a couple of weeks now. I think I've had one inquiry so unless somebody is interested within the next day or so, I'll be putting it on Ebay.

No they aren't.

Just upgraded the software here because of a couple of security updates. Please let me know if you see anything missing or not working correctly.

Yes it is. We were actually there at the same time, from Monday to Wednesday.

Really nice car and white is our favorite. Eileen and I saw several Camaros on the road during our vacation and she loves them. For me, it would still be a tough decision between it and the Challenger but either would do just fine.

Yea...if I find them...I'll have to use a stick to pick them up and throw them in the trash.

I would LOVE to take the 6 weeks but dang if I would go anywhere. I would just ham out here and rest for a while... well...except for maybe the rally at the Hub...and maybe Ashville....and..... heck...never mind.

Eileen and I made it home Friday evening from a whirlwind visit to Texas. We spent time with family in Tyler, Longview, Mt. Pleasant, Grand Prairie, Arlington and Granbury. Not near enough time in any one place and spent way too much time driving and not enough time with people that we were way overdue visiting. Now, it had been almost 10 years since I was last home to Texas. During this trip, I met 4 grand kids that I had never met, I met two daughter in laws that I had never met, I met 5 nieces and nephews that I had never met. It was a bit strange, a bit sad, a bit joyous and a bit hectic but overall, was a good trip. I'm sincerely sorry that I was unable to attend the International Rally. From all reports, Leadwolf and team did a fantastic job with it. This is the first one that I've missed and I hated doing so but I only have a limited amount of vacation and visiting family was way overdue. I can't wait so long before going home again. I spent yesterday working on the lawn tractor and managed to put a big gash in my hand and arm first thing yesterday morning but that is fairly typical of what happens when I work on something. Got the tractor repaired though so at least it was a success. Still have luggage in the car that I have to get out today and help Eileen get everything unpacked. Then I have to get my work car organized and hit the road again tomorrow. I feel like I need a vacation to get over my vacation but don't have any remaining time right now. I thank all of you for your understanding and sorry if I've neglected anything here during my time away.

No major differences at all. The only thing you might want to check on the '99 is that the trunk bottom is not cracked. Yamaha came out with a kit to prevent them from cracking but many folks never knew about it. There should be a rubber spacer at the bottom rear of the trunk and large washers on the inside under the rubber mat. The only other problem with the '99 models were the antennas. They were crap and Yamaha changed them in 2000 with a folding type. Otherwise, they are exactly the same other than the colors and maybe the seats.

I used to have one on my '99 but replaced it with a Bushtec hitch. I probably don't remember everything about it but if you have a specific question, I'll give it a shot.

I will take a look at this next week. It's just that there is a substantial amount of custom programming involved to add a country. I'm not sure that we have any other countries with enough members to justify all the work. You can always use the advanced search feature to select from a complete list of countries.

I would be concerned about that mechanic. The cables are still available. There are many online dealers that list them and you could also check with Rick at http://www.buckeyeperformance.com

I think the Commander is a great tire. I ran one for more than 13,000 miles and am sure that it would have run at LEAST a couple thousand more. I changed it because I was leaving for an extended trip and didn't want to worry about it. I was very happy with the way it performed.

I was working on the welcome thread before I went on vacation. I was trying to add a link to the new members profile but it didn't work and I ran out of time. I THOUGHT I had put everything back to normal but apparently did not. The userid of the person doing the welcoming got screwed up as did the name. I've got it straightened out now. There are still a couple of problems like it now telling where they are from and etc. but I'll get it all straightened out when I get home from our trip.
