I have no idea what you mean. As far as I can tell, the PMs are working fine. I've had no other reports of problems. Send me a PM and we'll do some testing.

Need opinions on Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer and Dryer
Freebird replied to Midrsv's topic in Watering Hole
I agree. I know NOTHING about front loading washers and dryers but I've been buying Whirlpool appliances pretty much all my adult life and have never had an issue. -
I've never had it out to look. Don't know what kind of bulbs they use or how they are installed. Just never heard of anybody wanting brighter lights.

Hey, it's fine with me. I'll kick a few bucks in. We just need somebody to collect the money.

Steering woble
Freebird replied to Mr. Holloween's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
The first two things I would check are: 1. Steering head bearings. Make sure they are not loose and well packed with grease. 2. Front tire cupping. Run your hand over the edges of the tread and see if it feels wavy. -
Yours is. But the earlier ones were not. Click on History in the upper menu and you can see the different years and specs.

Hey Kent...He DID say '96 Royal Star. I'm going to send you some new glasses...the really thick ones.
-
You might want to PM StarFan. He lives in Iceland but bought and keeps a bike here for when he visits. He can tell you what he had to do. As for finding a dealer with a "buy-back" program. Good luck with that. You may find one that will buy it back but you can bet it will be for a lot less than you paid for it. You will have to do your research and compare that to what it would cost to rent a bike.

Well, this is just my opinion and I am the first to admit that I am certainly not always right. BUT...if the trade was made based upon your pictures and description of the Bub's being in excellent or even "pristine" condition and then you discovered that they are NOT in the condition that you described them then yes, I feel that you should swap back if that is what the other party desires. While some may think that rust spots and rust along the seams are normal, that really doesn't matter if you described them as being like new or in excellent condition. He paid shipping both ways the first time based upon your description of the mufflers. You have admitted that they were not as good as you thought. I think that it's only fair that you pay the shipping this time.

I THINK it will extend but if not, just let me know and I'll reset it for you. As for your comment about other sites being free. They are only free to YOU. SOMEBODY pays for them. It might be the owner, advertisers, whatever but bandwidth and disk space is not free. I keep advertising here to a bare minimum. Most of our members have indicated over the years that they don't want to see advertisements, banners, etc. between every post. It's up to each individual to decide what kind of site they prefer. If you stick around, I think you'll come to appreciate it but if not, I hope that you find a place that makes you happy.

OK folks....I've changed it to 60 days for now. We'll try that and see how it works out.

I don't get offered a poll. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Rick Butler has them on his RSV and the last time I discussed them with him, he had nothing but good to say about them. He always ran Progressive springs in his first gens but felt that the emulators and ...can't remember which springs he went with...were better on the RSV.

Not sure what you mean. I haven't made any changes to the picture size limits in several years. It has pretty much always been 640 x 480 and 200,000 bytes. If they are a LITTLE larger, the software will resize them automatically but if they are too large it can't do it.
-
No, I knew that they wouldn't be available to you but was just bringing it up to say that the speeds were really pretty darn good. It was MUCH better than the satellite internet that was my only choice when I first moved here.

How do you start a post with "a friend of mine" and then expect us to believe anything else you have to say?

Yea, I've had Verizon DSL for probably 3 years now. Mine became Frontier the 1st of July. It's really a pain because now my email address will be changing again also. I can say though that I had NEVER had an outage since starting with Verizon but have already had two short ones since Frontier took it over. Hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Jeff, That is fantastic and we are all so very thankful that you are home safely. You've been gone way to long my brother. BUT............... This is totally unacceptable. You can't just pop in here and screw up the countdown that way. Now you get your butt back across the big pond so that we can do this right.

All I use is a laptop. The site was designed and built on my laptop and I don't have to scroll. What is your screen resolution set on?
-
You shouldn't have to scroll unless you have your screen resolution set very large. The site it designed to be viewed best at 1024 x 768.

To my knowledge, Yamaha never made them for the RSV. Maybe they made them for something else and they worked, I'm not sure.

Mine was with a local company. Don't know if there is something similar in your area or not. Here is a link to the company I was with so you can see the type of technology it is. http://www.axcesswave.com/
