  1. A question was asked and I've left the simplest answer for all to see. I've removed all the other posts and will now close this thread. I had no problem with the explanations but it had sunk to the level of members going after each other.
  2. OK...but we do want to see it.
  3. yea yea yea...so you think you can just sell the RSV and suddenly the PICTURE rule doesn't apply to you? Come on now....post them up. Congrats on the new ride and we do hope that you hang around.
  4. Folks, this sounds like an interesting product but please note that WildBill is a new trial member. I have just a bit of a problem with folks joining and then immediately trying to sell a product. Wildbill may be and probably is a great person but I just feel that people should at least become a supporting member before they start trying to sell things here. I'm still debating with myself or whether or not I should delete this thread. Your opinions are welcome.
  5. Just wanted to add a post here since this old thread was recently revived. I am no longer selling these stands.
  6. Another great site is http://www.justinguitar.com A lot of great lessons from basic to advanced and donation based.
  7. Send Ponch a private message about the bracket. I used to make and sell them but no longer do so. I sent all the details to Ponch and I know that he was looking at offering them.
  8. Well, before I replied to your post, I did a quick search and those are the prices that I found at http://www.partshark.com I didn't look anywhere else so they may be even cheaper elsewhere. The specific parts number for the I basket has been posted here before but I don't have it handy. Maybe your search found it or somebody else will join in and post it here.
  9. Sounds like he is giving you the run around. First of all, the clutch basket retails for about 250.00 and you can pick them up online for about 175.00. The second thing, is your bike still under warranty? If so, this should be a warranty issue. Many here have had them changed out under warranty. Third, it's crazy that he is telling you that when it comes in, it may not be an "I" basket. There is a specific part number for the "I" basket. He is correct in that it may or may not correct the problem but the majority of people have seen some improvement to a LOT of improvement.
  10. I had an '89 a couple of years ago that had the pod filters. It also had the VBoost and etc. and VMAX heads. Here is a thread on it and the second page shows pictures of the filters. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35264&highlight=vmax&page=2
  11. Well, I've been on the road since early this morning. It was working fine when I left this morning. I'm in a hotel in Rochester, NY now and it still seems OK from here.
  12. Here you go. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=508
  13. I don't know how much they are at Partshark but they are 4.74 at boats.net http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/yamaha/Y-90338-11152-00.html
  14. No Marcarl....I've bought special paper just for you.
  15. Don, Thanks for letting us know. You have a lot of friends here who really do care about you. I hate the "C" word about as much as any other word I know but I am encouraged by the fact that they have identified the possibility at an early stage. I have confidence that you are going to be just fine and we are going to offer up plenty or prayers to back that up. Take Care, Don
  16. I think it is OK. Mine was still sitting in my account and marked pending so apparently nobody is using that incorrect email address. I cancelled it and submitted it again.
  17. I think you are BOTH right.
  18. HA.....you think that was amazing...you should see how much TP is used here on Maintenance Day.
  19. Those pictures are making me home sick. Wish I was there with you. Looks like a great time.
  20. Here you go Dan....I guess I just had to draw you a picture.
  21. Doesn't do me a lot of good. Most of them that are near me are actually marinas and not at all convenient.
  22. Those of you who have met me know that I have NO accent...well...unless you consider country hick an accent.
  23. That is a great explanation Lewis. I will also add that the situation is similar for other rallies. A lot of the prizes that are given away are donated by our generous vendors. Though the trailers are not donated, we do generally get a nice discount on it. This enables us to raffle it off and then add any profits to various funds such as the flower funds, out of pocket expense funds for the future International Rally, etc. Giving cash as the prize would not work well in these instances.
  24. This is good news. I would hate it if this site didn't work with IE9. Not sure what I would do to address it.
  25. Did you try this site? I hope it's compatible because I have no plans at this point to make any changes here to make it so. I think that Microsoft screwed up this time. IE9 will only work on Windows 7. I am not running Windows 7 and have no plans to in the near future. XP works great for me. The new versions of Firefox and Google Chrome support Windows 7 but also XP and Vista. I am now running Firefox 4 and am pleased with it so am certainly not going to upgrade my operating system just so I can run IE9. So, hopefully this site will work with IE9 but if it doesn't, I will just have to recommend that folks who insist on using IE9 also keep a copy of Firefox or Google Chrome handy for coming here.
