  1. Rick, There absolutely HAS to be a way to correct the problem. Did you make ANY changes to your browser settings, javascript, ANYTHING?
  2. I suspected that might have been what you meant. I am sorry to hear it but I realize that people have to do what they have to do. You will be missed and I hope you will re-consider someday.
  3. Well...I got tired of the noise and went back to stock. My preference though, after trying the Road Kings, Samson and Khromewerk and listing to Baron's and Bub's on several other bikes was the Khromewerks. I think the fit and finish was superior and they had a nice deep sound. They can be repacked when necessary. ALL are pretty loud though.
  4. No problem Monty....I can get fired up over this stuff too. Just don't want anybody here to end up on some "watch list".
  5. Well, I've thought about adding a front fender rail to my '99 for a long time. I guess this would be a good time to do it. If you have one available Chad.
  6. Chad, This is Don (Freebird) and I have to tell you, it's not exactly a RANCH. I just wanted to say though that I am very excited that you have decided to do this. I hope that our members take advantage of this great service that you are offering us and I am encouraging them to do so. I look forward to meeting you. Actually, I may have met you once before but I just don't remember. I visited your dealership once a few years ago with our very own BongoBobNY and was able to take a test ride on a Spider..or is is Spyder...anyway...I truly enjoyed it. I hope that it ends up being financially worthwhile for you and that you have a great time here. Don
  7. There is no reason that you shouldn't be able to post in the classifieds yet. What kind of problem are you having? There is no waiting period once you become a paid member.
  8. I agree. I have one of the diaphragm types in the garage that I bought long ago for airing up tires and light duty work but if you plan to use any air tools, sand blasters, spray guns, etc., they just aren't going to work very well. I bought a used 2 stage with a 60 gallon tank for those bigger jobs. I've still got the little unit just because I already had it but air compressors are one thing that buying cheap is really not the best route to take. Plus, the two stage belt driven models run SOOOO much quieter.
  9. I agree that it is NOT normal. The RSV is rock solid and I've NEVER had any wobble. I do agree about the Bridgestone tires. They are terrible but if you've changed the tires, hopefully you didn't go back with a Bridgestone.
  10. One further thing. Before you clear your cache and etc., go to another page. Don't do it while you are at VentureRider.org. I had a recent incident where I had made some changes to an ad on Craigslist. My changes never showed up. I cleared the cache and history but did it while I was still at that page. It was like because I was on that page, it was still retaining the cached copy that I was showing. I left that page and then cleared everything and then went back and it worked.
  11. The order of the posts are set in your UserCP. It sounds though like it is not picking up all your settings and it is probably because it is not logging you in completely. I honestly think that I may have caused the problem for you when I change the Name field to a required field. Did you already have that field completed or did you do it after I made the change? It honestly sounds like a cache problem. It sounds like you added your name after I made the change but your computer is pulling up cached pages of the site so not seeing that you filled it out. In Firefox, click on tools, clear history..and make sure that cache, browsing history and cookies are selected.
  12. Folks....let's please be very careful. I understand the anger and frustration that many folks feel about this but even the hint of the avocation of violence can put you and us in a bad position. I deleted one post and edited another that referred to it. I understand the sentiment but please be careful about what you suggest.
  13. David, I understand and don't see how anybody could turn it into a political issue. Anybody who doesn't think that spewing hate speech at the funeral of 7 children is just plain sick probably doesn't belong here.
  14. Your care package arrived. You better watch yourself...you are going to end up with a reputation of being a very sweet lady.
  15. Yeppers...we got snow again also. The parts finally came in for my old snow thrower. I've been out of town all week. Stopped by the John Deere dealer and picked up the parts on the way home and just got it put together again. Not that much snow though and it's just turning into a nasty mush now.

I just ordered from them for the first time. Just a button for the passenger push to talk switch. I've seen several posts here where people have used them and have seen no complaints. After I placed my order for the button, I got an email letting me know that it was not in stock and has been ordered. That's fine this time because it's not that I am in a big hurry for it. I do prefer sites that show the availability of an item BEFORE I place my order though.
  17. Yes, I made the name field and the city a requirement. If you don't want to include your real name, just choose a nickname. It just makes it much easier to get to know folks if you can refer to them as Bob, Don, Tom, Tex, Sleepy....whatever instead of having to refer to somebody as midnightridingbiker233380 or something like that. If you don't feel comfortable including your real name, just use a nickname that you are OK with.
  18. Yes, I made "name" a required field the same time that I did "city".
  19. Just to let you all know, the user that I was questioning has been banned for spamming and the two posts that he made here have been deleted.
  20. Just curious, are you associated with them in any way?
  21. hmmm....I haven't seen the shark fin antennas except on some cars that come factory equipped with them.
  22. OK you big cry baby. City is now a required field for any new registrants. BUT...remember..only supporting members have access to the members list so they actually do not have access to your information. I agree though, people should include their city.
  23. I sincerely hurt for you and your family. I can only imagine the emotional turmoil that you must all be going through. I can promise you that you are in our prayers also.
  24. I bought mine from Jake Wilson. Just click their banner at the upper right of the forum...refresh the page until you see it. When you get to their site, do a search for "clutch tool". It will come up a the top of the list and is $15.99. Don
  25. I'm sure you did fine. I don't know that they have the best prices so I didn't say anything, I should have though. Sorry about that. I have actually seen them a few places cheaper but the reviews on those places weren't usually that good. Heck, you only paid $14.00 more...that's not bad.
