Come on now, let's not turn this into a political thread. Geezzz.....all I did was upgrade the server. It didn't even require any congressional approval.

Yea....but so that you folks wouldn't worry about things going badly, I did it while you weren't looking. It is all done already and we are still here.

Received an offer from our hosting company that was too good to refuse so I had our server upgraded with more memory and disk space. Don't know if we will see any difference in performance because I think it has been working pretty well anyway but we'll see.

Well a lot of you have met Annie, our VentureRider dog. Here is a recent picture taken by Eileen. She is doing very well thank you.

I think I've seen about every hitch made for these bikes and have never seen anything like that. I'm not sure what the heck it is. I wonder if it was some kind of home fabricated hitch or some type of cooler rack?

May need som Phoenix AZ help. Possible ripoff
Freebird replied to lonestarmedic's topic in Watering Hole
Well I found several listings similar to this one. It shows that the actual building is listed for sale. Says it has 27 offices or something like that. I found a couple of listings that do show this gun store as one of the tenants. http://www.longrealty.com/commercial-for-sale/AZ/Buckeye/85326/25560-W-US-Highway-85---80681003 I agree with you that it looks like somebody with an FFL working out of a small office. -

Google seems to be getting this one wrong. I looked it up on Mapquest and a couple others and it is showing a multi-office building. -
They aren't exactly the same, especially the mounts, but they look very similar to Markland boards. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-GL1200-Goldwing-highway-boards-/170966358531?hash=item27ce639a03&item=170966358531&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

I was just reading a news article about a site called Glassboard? Anybody here use it? It is supposed to be a good alternative to Facebook. The biggest difference being that it is totally private and they don't sell your information to advertisers. Only those whom you invite can view the information that you post. I am NOT on it. Just curious as I had not heard of it before. http://glassboard.com/

Actually, I've found the odometers to be off also but not by as much as the speedometers. The speedometers are usually off about 7% and if I remember correctly, the odometers are usually off about 3%.

I just came in from doing my drive also. The old John Deere just keeps on chugging along. This was only the second time I've plowed mine since this snow started but I should have done it sooner this time. It was starting to get a little deep. It also seems to be a wetter/heavier snow than we got the other day. Oh well....spring is right around the corner.

Sounds like the budget was tight for the original builder too.

What do you mean "this is the FIRST time"........I think that she and I need to have a little chat.

Well, I just sold a Washburn that I am replacing with this Martin. My "old" one now is the Martin Custom Shop GPCPA1 that I bought a few months ago. I don't think it is going anywhere. That is a great guitar. I actually started looking at those but I really wanted just a straight dreadnaught acoustic this time. I did look at the Taylor DN3 which is the non-cutaway non-electric version of your 314CE. I came very close to buying it but just couldn't get my mind off the D18. An yea...I think I do remember saying that I was done. LOL....you actually BELIEVED that?

We are getting it here too Tom. Haven't had to do the drive yet but will before the day is over. They are saying up to 14" or more here.

Not much to do with it. It is almost perfect for me right out of the box. Maybe some bone or ebony bridge pins though.

Nope...I have an OLD John Deere 110 with a snow blower on it. That old thing just keeps on ticking. I like it and won't be upgrading unless it someday bites the dust. I don't use it for anything except the snow so hopefully it will last a long time.
-
We are having a partially white Christmas. A light dusting is about all right now. Supposed to be a decent sized storm coming through tomorrow and lasting through Thursday, we'll see. I can live without it but Eileen LOVES it so only for her, I hope we get it. By the way, your attachment didn't work for some reason.

Well come on then...spill it. What did he leave? I'm the only one awake here so far. Nothing under the tree for me though. I got and installed a couple of things for the bike a couple of weeks ago. Twinky covers and saddlebag lid covers. That was SUPPOSED to be all this year but......well.......yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered myself a new 2012 Martin D18 guitar. Martin totally updated the D18 for 2012 and it's awesome. Couldn't find one locally though so I finally ordered one. Should be here by the end of the week. So how about it folks. I know that MOST of you have been naughty but some of you probably got stuff anyway.

Great picture Jay. 4 generations is something to celebrate. You will remain in our prayers. -
Hard to believe that another year has come and gone. I want to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and thank you for your continued participation in the VentureRider club. I lose track of how many years we have been here now but I can say that they are some of the best years of my life. The friendships made here are the type that will last many many years and such friendships are sometimes hard to find now days. I know that many of you have gone through some difficult times over the past year. Some just recently. Please know that our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you during this special time of the year. Know that we are here for you and we do care. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and again, thank you for all that you do. I may have built this site but without each and every one of you, it would just be another of the millions of websites available. YOU make it the special place that it is.
