  1. I don't know which one you need but I see some on Ebay.
  2. Sounds like the budget was tight for the original builder too.
  3. What do you mean "this is the FIRST time"........I think that she and I need to have a little chat.
  4. Well, I just sold a Washburn that I am replacing with this Martin. My "old" one now is the Martin Custom Shop GPCPA1 that I bought a few months ago. I don't think it is going anywhere. That is a great guitar. I actually started looking at those but I really wanted just a straight dreadnaught acoustic this time. I did look at the Taylor DN3 which is the non-cutaway non-electric version of your 314CE. I came very close to buying it but just couldn't get my mind off the D18. An yea...I think I do remember saying that I was done. LOL....you actually BELIEVED that?

We are getting it here too Tom. Haven't had to do the drive yet but will before the day is over. They are saying up to 14" or more here.
  6. Great pictures Tom. You have some good looking kiddos there.
  7. Not much to do with it. It is almost perfect for me right out of the box. Maybe some bone or ebony bridge pins though.
  8. Nope...I have an OLD John Deere 110 with a snow blower on it. That old thing just keeps on ticking. I like it and won't be upgrading unless it someday bites the dust. I don't use it for anything except the snow so hopefully it will last a long time.
  9. We are having a partially white Christmas. A light dusting is about all right now. Supposed to be a decent sized storm coming through tomorrow and lasting through Thursday, we'll see. I can live without it but Eileen LOVES it so only for her, I hope we get it. By the way, your attachment didn't work for some reason.
  10. Well come on then...spill it. What did he leave? I'm the only one awake here so far. Nothing under the tree for me though. I got and installed a couple of things for the bike a couple of weeks ago. Twinky covers and saddlebag lid covers. That was SUPPOSED to be all this year but......well.......yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered myself a new 2012 Martin D18 guitar. Martin totally updated the D18 for 2012 and it's awesome. Couldn't find one locally though so I finally ordered one. Should be here by the end of the week. So how about it folks. I know that MOST of you have been naughty but some of you probably got stuff anyway.
  11. Great picture Jay. 4 generations is something to celebrate. You will remain in our prayers.
  12. Hard to believe that another year has come and gone. I want to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and thank you for your continued participation in the VentureRider club. I lose track of how many years we have been here now but I can say that they are some of the best years of my life. The friendships made here are the type that will last many many years and such friendships are sometimes hard to find now days. I know that many of you have gone through some difficult times over the past year. Some just recently. Please know that our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you during this special time of the year. Know that we are here for you and we do care. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and again, thank you for all that you do. I may have built this site but without each and every one of you, it would just be another of the millions of websites available. YOU make it the special place that it is.
  13. OK folks...I think that I FINALLY have the menu bar link to the chatroom working again.
  14. I don't know of anybody except Baron's that makes lowering links. We have a vendor who makes leveling links but they actually raise the rear, not lower.
  15. LOL...I can always use it for an oil rag.
  16. I did that once and everybody thought it was just too much. If you like a post, just thank them for it.
  17. Thanks Dan. I made it a sticky to keep it at the top for now.
  18. I've got a four wheel drive, a .22 rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun for getting food. Rods and reels for fishing. I've got a deep well that has a large enough casing that I can manually get water out of it for drinking until it becomes contaminated. I wonder how many radioactive squirrels you have to eat before it kills you? The fact is, I'm just got going to worry about such things. When it is your time, it is your time. Greater things await.
  19. Discovery Channel used to be one of my favorites. I held them to a little higher standards than some of the other networks. Now they are just like or sometimes worse than the others. Amish Mafia is a new low for them. Totally fabricated bull.
  20. There's that song...I can't remember now...was it Hank Williams Jr.? "A country boy can survive". I think that pretty much says it all.
  21. 6:11 a.m. huh? Maybe with a little luck I can sleep through it.
  22. If you want to use a credit card, you don't need a PayPal account. Just go through the steps and when the PayPal page opens, there will be a link on it to pay with a credit card without a PayPal account. If you would rather send a check, that is fine. I'll PM you my address.
  23. There are some issues with the chat server. The link in the menu bar will not work for now. Please use this link until I get it resolved. CHAT ROOM
  24. ALL Royal Star Ventures came with the CB and Intercom. At least all the USA and Canadian models. I think I've seen reports that the European models did not have the CB.
  25. According to what I see in the service manual, the upper pinch bolts torque to 7.2 ft.lbs and the lowers torque to 14 ft.lbs. Somebody PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong but that is what I see. I'm talking about the stock triple tree.
