Creole,
Save the money and buy the shock for the later models. They are the same except that the newer ones have a vent line that is supposed to help them last longer. Don't know if it really does or not but everything else is the same.

I found what I THINK is the screen saver that you are talking about. I made it several years ago. I have uploaded it again and you can download it here.

I agree that it may be time for a new screen saver if enough people are interested. As for copying the one that you have, it should be a file named VR.exe or maybe VR2.exe. You just need to copy that file from one computer to the other.
I saw it Eddie...I just ignored your trouble making butt. By the way, there IS an automatic resizer here, it just doesn't work very well. It does fine if the pictures are just slightly oversize but not if they are HUGE.
Are you SURE?

I have placed a order for small VentureRider patches. I am told that they will ship by March 8th. Price will remain the same. Here is the link to the ordering information for any of you who have been waiting.

I will be placing orders for more bells and domed decals in the near future.
Any mod I've ever seen or heard of would require drilling holes so I would say that they have not been modified. From your description, it sounds like one of two problems.
1. Carbs really need to be synced.
2. There is a leak somewhere. A lot of owners found a problem with the exhaust where there was a pin hole on the bike side of the pipes just behind where they "Y" together to forum one pipe going to the mufflers. This hole allowed them to suck air there which resulted in that popping sound. Could be one side or both.

How many years at most do you expect a front tire to last?
NOTE: For a front tire as this thread is addressing, I am pretty much getting all of these things with the Avon Venom and previously the Michelin Commander.
One of the big suppliers is Hartco. They don't show a picture of them for the RSV on their site but they do make them.
