Hanging fuel cell for Garage ceiling
Freebird replied to deepforkriver's topic in Poor Man Tips and Fixes
Yea, yout may be right. I got lucky I guess. I had an old tiller that the gear box went bad on. It had a plastic tank that was mounted higher up on the handles with a petcock on the bottom that fed the motor. It was perfect for this use. -

I've got a gas tank off an old garden tiller. It is plastic and has the hose connector coming out of the bottom. I would think that you could find an old tank off a lawn mower or something at any place that works on lawn mowers. -
They may not be. From what Grump has posted, a lot of folks have made these. I guess Anri is just one of them.

The mechanical one looks like some done by Anri. Do a Google search for Anri mechanical figurines and you'll find a lot of examples. It looks like most were bottle corks and that one may have once been. Here's some examples on Ebay. Scroll through the list and you will see several of the "kissing" ones. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Anri+Mechanical&_sacat=0&_odkw=Anri&_osacat=0&_from=R40

According to articles that I've read and their website, they are not using any Victory parts on the new Indian and they say that they have designed and built an entirely new engine for it. They are keeping it all pretty secret but have sound clips on their site.

I think they may well survive. Remember, they are owned by Polaris/Victory now. Deep pockets there. I agree that they were way overpriced but they are being totally redesigned now and supposedly a totally new line coming out in late 2013. They will still be a premium priced bike but more in line with the prices of Harley and not $30,000.00 plus that they were before.

Now you see...that's your fundamental problem. You think like a woman. Now you stay away from Eileen when you are here in June. I don't want you two comparing notes.

So...are you guys still practicing and playing? Here is the latest from me. Added a new Martin D18 to go with the Martin GPCPA1 Custom Shop. I'm done now...no more guitars...I mean it....ask my wife.

I can promise you that it doesn't indicate ANYTHING. Blue is supposed to be a calming color. Doesn't always seem to work around here though.

Come on now, let's not turn this into a political thread. Geezzz.....all I did was upgrade the server. It didn't even require any congressional approval.

Yea....but so that you folks wouldn't worry about things going badly, I did it while you weren't looking. It is all done already and we are still here.

Received an offer from our hosting company that was too good to refuse so I had our server upgraded with more memory and disk space. Don't know if we will see any difference in performance because I think it has been working pretty well anyway but we'll see.

Well a lot of you have met Annie, our VentureRider dog. Here is a recent picture taken by Eileen. She is doing very well thank you.

I think I've seen about every hitch made for these bikes and have never seen anything like that. I'm not sure what the heck it is. I wonder if it was some kind of home fabricated hitch or some type of cooler rack?

May need som Phoenix AZ help. Possible ripoff
Freebird replied to lonestarmedic's topic in Watering Hole
Well I found several listings similar to this one. It shows that the actual building is listed for sale. Says it has 27 offices or something like that. I found a couple of listings that do show this gun store as one of the tenants. http://www.longrealty.com/commercial-for-sale/AZ/Buckeye/85326/25560-W-US-Highway-85---80681003 I agree with you that it looks like somebody with an FFL working out of a small office. -

Google seems to be getting this one wrong. I looked it up on Mapquest and a couple others and it is showing a multi-office building. -
They aren't exactly the same, especially the mounts, but they look very similar to Markland boards. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-GL1200-Goldwing-highway-boards-/170966358531?hash=item27ce639a03&item=170966358531&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

I was just reading a news article about a site called Glassboard? Anybody here use it? It is supposed to be a good alternative to Facebook. The biggest difference being that it is totally private and they don't sell your information to advertisers. Only those whom you invite can view the information that you post. I am NOT on it. Just curious as I had not heard of it before. http://glassboard.com/

Actually, I've found the odometers to be off also but not by as much as the speedometers. The speedometers are usually off about 7% and if I remember correctly, the odometers are usually off about 3%.

I just came in from doing my drive also. The old John Deere just keeps on chugging along. This was only the second time I've plowed mine since this snow started but I should have done it sooner this time. It was starting to get a little deep. It also seems to be a wetter/heavier snow than we got the other day. Oh well....spring is right around the corner.
