    Well last monday the wife and i rode to daytona to JP cycle. Well on arrival home she was on her harley (low rider) well we live on a small hill. She went up first and stopped as i on my rsv rolled up beside her all i hear is her yelling my name as her bike slowly layed down on its side. once i stopped laughing i noticed one important thing she had forgotten .... the kickstand was up... at least she can pick it up on her own.....

    Justg got home from work and i guess the railroad i work for has a spy on here lol. even though its my day off i have to work tommorrow... If by some miracle i get a repreve ill be there if not take alot of pics ....thanks...btw ruffy what part of jax are you in???

    Been trying to make a M/E for a while.. If i dont have to work on sunday wife and i will be there... she might be on her harley...Mothers day present...lol everyone can laugh at me for trying to make a venture a chopper...see my posts....

    I live in fla and the symax II with the built in sunvisor is great ...ride to work 5 days a week and love the fact that if i forget my shades i dont have to worry...check out The Helmet Shop in daytona fl great web sight and good prices...

    My wife of 30 years started her riding on a harley 883 hugger . this was after takeing msf classe had a little trouble but after a year of trying to keep up with me we are going tuesday to buy her a dyna low rider . still loves the back of the venture on long trips look at my posts she is the one that knits while riding..lol.

    After my talk with bbstacker i felt like a fool believe me. but couldnt figure out how to get rid of the post... oh well aint the first time ive been laughed at...plus when i do something that dumb and then post it i can take it..... if i ever get time off from work to meet some of you folks you will have something to talk about...lol:think:

    Im in the procees of lower my front end and have followed the steps listed here ( i thought) but does the front air shock air valve suppost to be below the triple tree??? see photos

    On Sunday my wife and i were riding back to Orange Park Fl from Macon Ga.. when i felt something poke me in the back , and then something was ticking on my helmet Now here i am at 65 mph rolling down the road,, Then it dawns on me... i ask my wife " are you by chance knitting right now" and she answered " yes i am " ... i about wrecked laughing !!! leave it to my better half to find a way to knitt or quilt no matter were we are.. By the way if you ever see a 2000 M/M venture rolling down the road with a rider taking pictures of everything or knitting just wave:crackup: and dont wreck laughing

    look on ebay there is a person that makes bolts with knobs on them . i bought a set makes taking the bag on and off a breeze...

    I did 20 years 2 days in the Navy as an AWH h is for helos... had some good times and bad but wouldnt change a thing if i could.. retired in 97 and uncle sam has paid for my house ever since. If he can hang there are bennies to doing 20. GOOD LUCK TO HIM:337:p.s. Tell him thank you from an old salt !!!!!!

    I rode one a prototype last summer during am MSF trike safety course ! Boy after being on HD's all day what a blast very stable and fast. The Reps that where there were saying that if sales went well they were going to make a long distance touring type ie comfortable seat tour bags ect ... wont trade the Venture on one but my 20 year old daughter loved it (she took the course also and rode it for 3 days).. might just be the future never know ...but for an old guy like me i'll stick to my heavy venture:cool10:

    Thanks for the advice. I bought some speed bleeders also ill try both on my next day off ,soon i hope... wasting alot of great riding days

    Ive just installed a barons lowering kit to my 2000 Venture... Now i cannt get the rear brake to bleed at all. no presure at the pedal but its pushing air and fuild through. tried a vacuum pump no help,,,, im stumped going out to get some new bleed valves to see if that helps any other suggestion will be greatly wanted.... p.s no leaks that i can find either

    I run 404's on a second gen vr and they are a pretty good tire for the price never had a problem above 80 so far. Cannt tell you about wear yet only had them a month or so

    About 4 months ago i bought a factory second tinted with the vent. They claimed it had a 1" scar near the left hand side of the vent . I have never found it nor did my buddies that have looked for it. Overall i wouldnt trade it for anyother, have rode in the rain and on hot days beat the stock one hands down ..also i got it for about 75.00 dollars cheaper.. best by ive made for it so far:080402gudl_prv:

    How can you not like it.. Harley's are nice but rice last longer. Its been said before and sorry for the repeat...not everyone has one:cool10:

    Ok here it goes i am looking at getting a stebel natulis horn for my rsv. Any suggestion on where the best price might be?? Also has anyone had any problems with one? Also the barrons lowering kit ...does it change the handleing at all good or bad, at 5'7" i could use about an inch closer to the ground and dont want to mod the seat cause its really comfy...
