Waz in Ashville coming out of VA. Stop to eat and the dash went blank several time the engine sputtered then all ok..a few mins later did it again?? Drove back to Spartanburg, SC. waz ok Kinda left me a little concerned..got any Id???

we had planned to eat breakfast at the local madonald Sat. morning, got up sat morning and at 6:45am wifey says we could go for a little bike ride, 11 hrs and 538miles later we end up in goldsboro nc at wilber's bbq for supper had a good nights sleep planning on returning home sun morning but she says no, had light meals r and a great mid-afternoon feed at the Sandpiper in LaGrange nc and got back home a few mins ago after a three day trip of 1237 miles, man i'm getting to old for this but it was fun and never got rained on ,, steve ,

So when I start my 01 RSV and it is not warmed up I hear a ticking like an exhaust leak or maybe lose valves. But I thought the valves got tight with time and mileage. I have 14,000 miles on it and don't know if the valves have ever been checked or adjusted. So what could it be and what should I do? After about 3 mins the sound stops.

Just want to wish all going to Freebird's MD a safe trip. Wish I could be there, but off to California this morning to see my Sister who is battling lung cancer. The bike is all loaded should be out the door in about 10 mins. So all have fun. If everything goes alright I will see some of you at the Hub end of July. John

Hello NY's!. My daughter attends Keuka College, on Keuka Lake. Closest real town is Penn Yan. Any members from the area? This area is about an hour south of Rochester, 30 mins SE of Canandaigua, 30 mins SW of Geneva. Anyway, I had to run up there (from Long Island) to solve a car problem this weekend for her. (long story) While I was driving around to find the local CarQuest, I saw a beautiful Gold first gen on the driveway of a Penn Yan home. Anyones here? I saw a couple of 2nd Gens lined up at a Penn Yan gas/food mart with 20 other bikes as well on Saturday.

Leslie & I were at Home Depot at about noon today and got a call from our daughter that the house had been broken into, they got computers, electronics, jewelry and other misc. goods. You might say that I am not happy. Everybody is OK but its not a good feeling. The police showed up about 15 mins after we got home, took a little info and said a detective will get with us next week. SOOO I may not be online till I get another puter. The house was empty for only about 45 mins, is somebody watching ? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

i have free AVG and i like it but , it scans at the wrong the time , anybody know how to turn off the auto scan ?? when it dos a scan it takes about 30 to 45 mins. and almost shuts down this old laptop , i would like to scan manuly only not auto . thanks thom
