I'm thinking about a GPS, but would like to have just a GPS. Does any of them just do the GPS? I do not need the blue tooth, satelite radio and all the other fuctions that comes together in one package.

My 10 year old son Joshua got to fly today too. He went up in the Cessna and he hasn't stopped talking yet. Not quite as fast, but still a lot of fun....
-
He took it easy on me today, He did a very steep climb after passing by the airport then over the top to lift me off my seat. I understand he's been known to do a few rolls from time to time.... It was a very fun ride, another good way to burn up a Sunday afternoon. He spent five years building this plane and first got it in the air in 2003.

No it was on my First Gen, but it was still a thrill. A friend of mine took me up in his "Experimental" plane today that he built himself. It is a beautiful two seat powerhouse that was a blast on a Sunday afternoon. We made a low pass back by the airport at over 200 mph, it was a blast to see how fast the ground moves past you at over 200 mph.....

Most people feels that Speeding is not a crime, but the fact is Speeding kills more people everyday than anything else. Sure, there may be other factors involved, but Speeding adds to the problem. Most "Speed Traps" that I've heard people talk about are well marked and posted before hand. One here locally (that is in the top 10 in the US) that everyone complaints about has Oversized Speed Limit Signs on both sides of the road as you enter into the city limits, but people just refuse to drive the limit. And "Speed Limit" doesn't mean 10 over...... and yes, I'm guilty sometimes myself because I love to play.

Does anyone have an extra front plate and damper that hold the windshield at the bottom? (part number 58 & 59) I stopped by the dealer yesterday and Yamaha doesn't show the front plate any longer as being listed. I need one....

I'm not sure Gene, but I think he wants a nice firm seat. He riding now on a pointed metal brace.....

A friend of mine has a 86 Goldwing 1200 Interstate and his seat padding is gone. The seat looks good on the outside, but the inside padding is shot. He is setting on the metal seat pan which is very uncomfortable. He has looked on eBay, but had no luck. Does anyone has any suggestions on a good fix that doesn't break the bank?

Any of the area in the southwest part of West Virginia is nice. I've made the ride from Marlington north and circled back through Elkins several times. I have been scoping out some future rides, and actually Scenic Rocks and Black Waterfalls areas is at the top of my list next summer when I set off the first "West Virginia Skid-In". I also found another shorter ride I may use for a nice day ride. It would match the Tail of the Dragon Ride easily, but without all the law enforcement. I plan to ride one or two these road this fall before making my final pick. My wife now is even looking forward to the event next summer. So far everything is a GO! Hope you get to make it. :GREEN:

You're in beautiful country John. About anywhere in Pendleton County you'll find good twisties. I always perfer the Highland Scenic Highway near Marlington and any of US Route 60 near Hawks Nest is good too. If you make it up near Braxton County, Look us up! I hope to be out riding this weekend, it about time the leaves will be starting to change.

Mine quite last year after riding through the rain at Vogel. I sprayed some cleaner into the switch and fixed my problem. Just another thing to deal with about riding a twenty year old scoot..... -
