We are so sorry to hear this terrible news. Prayers for the family. Ride Free Warrior!

We would try to make either date you set. Not sure if we can though. A lot depends on my work schedule which will not be set until it gets closer.

Why I won't put off life...

“Live thy life! let not Hope's frauds, thefts, fool thee, bidding thee wait - Till a last dawn disposes of works, joys, put off too late” http://thinkexist.com/i/sq/as0.gif Julius Polyaenus quotes -
Double your normal following distance and stay off the brake as much as possible.

I thought those double yellow lines didn't apply to motorcycles.

Thanks Buckshot! Mine's an '09 also.

Sorry Lew, I haven't been around much lately and I was unaware of the auctions. I'll take a look.

After going on a 200 mile+ ride on the ST1300 last weekend the wife could barely climb off the bike. She was in pain for 2 days after. I showed her a pic of this bike that a local dealer had on ebay and she said "get it....now!" so I did. Another RSV was not an option since I won't put her on a non ABS bike since I totaled the '07. Hope yall like it! ps Mama is now a happy camper and you know what they say about that!

Nice wheelie!

Glad you're ok! Can you think of anything you might have done differently to avoid that situation?
-
You hit the jackpot there. Have fun! Those little odds and ends really add up.

Straight edges are a basic tool for accuracy in scribing, drafting and straightness inspection. Not worth a dime? http://www.torontosurplus.com/test-equipment-1/calibration-equipment-standards/brown-and-sharpe-530-beveled-toolmaker-s-knife-straight-edge-set-in-stock-4m.html

The best thing I've found to loosen rusted lug nuts is Coca-cola.

Here's the replacement for the wing. It doesn't have a heated seat (yet) but it does have heated grips!
-
Details on the North Georgia Fall Foliage Ride will be forthcoming. I will miss my heated seat and grips though!

I sold my 2006 GL1800 to a guy that flew in from Wichita KS to Atlanta and rode it home. I rode it for 2 yrs and put 24k miles on it and sold it for $700 less than I paid for it. Not a bad deal! I still have the '97 RSTC and I might be looking for a sport touring bike like a Kawi Concours 14 in the future.

Now I know why BMW service is sooo expensive!

Ever try changing the air filter in a GL1800? -
Glad you're okay. This is the exact reason I ended up on a goldwing after wrecking my RSV in the rain. The brakes are unsafe in a panic stop situation. It's way past time for Yamaha to incorporate ABS.
