  1. They double every year, you know,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  2. C'mon, Brad, I expected more from YOU!!!!!!!
  3. I don't have the tool kit (bought a small kit for 15 bucks at Harbor Freight), BUT I do have the air guage with bag, AND the factory Yamaha lock and chain, even fits my key! Dan
  4. Glad you got out and had a great time Gary, kinda envious, but still glad! Dan
  5. As an aside to this thread, if you ever go to order and replace the crankcase breather hose from the airbox to the "twinkie", they will send you the shorter hose that the drain line is supposed to "T" into in the later mods, makes it a pain to try and stretch the new shorter hose down to the fitting! Dan
  6. Wow, hope I never get anybody here to give ME anything, may never get it!!
  7. I do a LOT of electrical and lighting maintenance for WM here in Indiana, you wouldn' t BELIEVE how much money their corporate people waste on stuff every year, it's comical sometimes! But I'll keep taking their money! Dan

Got a cousin that lives in Leesburg, Terry Fletcher. Good guy to know. Tell him Dan Obert said Hi! Dan
  9. Although it's cold with snow and ice, it's also a good time to practice those donuts and car control in those empty parking lots!!!
  10. Just a thought here, if you use the crimp connectors to join the wires, get the type that has the heat-shrink ends, so you can seal up the connection. That way, when it's just sitting around waiting to be used (especially if tie-wrapped to the frame), you won't get any corrosion in there. Dan
  11. We still go out to a tree farm, been going there since 1991, second year they were open. Along the way they have added civil war re-enactors, old time craft shop and usually a horse-drawn team to take you back to get your tree. Lots of fun! Dan
  12. Welcome to the family, you have plenty of great guys and great minds out there in Cali to help you with any questions and food purchases at DQ you may wish to make! Dan
  13. I tried to find an excuse to get out yesterday too, but couldn't find anything I needed that I had to pick up! Too many chores to just go out for a ride! Dang it, rain and snow coming in for the next few days! Dan
  14. Yeah, well THAT didn't happen! Even tried taking apart the brakes on my daughters car to try and find something that needed parts, NOTHING DOING!!!!!!! Just resigned myself to the fact it might be over....... I'll still hold out a small glimmer of hope, though. Dan
  15. Check the fluid passages from the line in side to the other side, may be a small blockage there. Also, I think the passages may not allow the slave side to operate at same pressure as the line in side. Just my opinion, and as Squidley so eloquently put it, ya'll don't pay attention to me anyway, but it makes me feel good typing so much trivial information! Dan
  16. Gonna be 48f here today, snow tonite, gotta find an excuse to get the bike out!!
  17. I kinda wanted to get in on the original before it got changed! Was gonna do it next year! Dan
  18. Whats a matter? You trying to get in good with Santa this year?
  19. he's got a 1st gen and a vmax. Hmmm, may have to squeeze in another side job...... but I swore I wasn't gonna go in the motor this year!! Thanks Lynn, Dan
  20. Bring it on, "Big Boy", I'll have the grill warmin' up for ya to grill those steaks you're gonna lose!!!! We can go straight line, or I've got some nice little twisties in mind............ Gonna be a long PMS, isn't it?
  21. Oh you poor guys with your beer days, Schnitzel-eating, bratwurst tossing, Neurburgring racing, oh let me take my Vmax up into the alps for a couple days, 1st gen riding and secretly building prototype parts for the quickest Vmax around German son-of-a-gun, how DARE you try and not call me your friend?! Must be my German heritage (both sides) that I can't even get mad at this guy! That's my best attempt at trying to get this thread deleted, probably won't work, though. Maybe this one will do: Hey Squidley, when you gonna get tired of playin' with those slooooowwwww bikes and come up and play at the front of the pack with us big boys??????????? Skinny Squidley
  22. Squeeze might want to jump on that. Would they fit a MK1? Not that I would want to do it, I think you would have to do more, maybe valves, etc. Dan
  23. Good job Dan, glad you got that monster under leash again. Just don't forget to hold onto that leash and just let a little bit out at a time! Happy you got to get out today. More than I've been able to do! But I've been having fun hot-rodding my kids 79 Camaro, so its a good trade! Dan
  24. See Squid, I do have SOME friends around here....... He just happens to live 6000 miles away........... Thanks Squeeze, owe ya one! And don't worry Swifty, guys like us are always around when they're needed. Matter of fact, we're usually the first ones there! You know, kinda like a husband and Dad! Don't want us around, always get the cr*p jobs, never get appreciated................
  25. Welcome Jerry, and if you ever get a hankerin' to take out some old Yammi Mx'rs, I got a 77 IT400 out in the shed you can borrow, she'll still get up and talk to ya if you stroke the throttle just right.............. Dan
