Yea Mini the creek was up and muddy this morning from that rain last night. I got the 89 and 99 started first time since January. The 84 has a bad battery it won't take a charge.The charger just shows fault but I did jump start it for a warm up. Our phones and dsl have been down since last evening. I just got them back at 2:30 this afternoon.I got May 3rd down as a possibility.I should get the 89 out this week after work for a test run. I wonder how the shady lady is coming?:whistling:

I promised myself the first ride of the year the weekend after paying Fed & State taxes. Kind of a got that behind me celebration ride. The battery has been charging on the 89 since this morning but now the rain has set in for maybe all weekend. So I guess the ride will have to wait. It's only been since October. We got busy in November with a new flooring job and missed several available riding weekends right into winter. I got a utility pole delivered to the camp last night but still waiting on a local guy with a tractor to dig the 5 ft hole and help set the pole. Were ready for electricity and camping season at the camp. I can't wait to get the scoots down there.:cool10: MamaMo swept out the camp and made room for a few venture riders that like to rough it. The new fire pit works great.

It will be 45 days before MamaMo is back in ferry waters. We take a ferry ride every year at the beach. Here is me with the 89 MamaMo is taking the picture.Good luck 45 days and counting.

SUV's are mandatory where I live. Gas was $3.69 a gallon from Morgantown to Jane Lew yesterday.We have tried everything but where I live with the creek and iced up driveway in the winter. Both the wife and I drive 4x4 pickups. Ramona said gas was still $3.58 at Flatwoods yesterday but that will change soon.

Gasoline just hit $3.70 a gallon for regular. I paid $120 to fill up the pickup. It now cost $20 to fill up the bike. Groceries are going up and this month our health care provider is re adjusting rates. Dig deeper and have a nice summer. Will Americans cut back on recreation??? NO.Now the good news it's 75 outside lets ride.

Occasional map data gliches. Mine does that once in a while. If a new road has been built after the data was loaded it won't be there. If a database error is in the existing program then it will show up. I find errors on every trip but still a must have item.

How many times have I told the wife. Honey I got to take a little trip next weekend. Arkansas,Florida,Maine,Michigan,North Carolina,Virginia that bid now button just has a certain irresistible attraction when it says Yamaha. I'm in Ebay recovery with good therapy. It's called being broke but happy.I also ran out of garage space. -
Time for new rules at my house. I don't borrow nothing and I don't loan nothing!! Seems like everybody has a hard luck story. I had a millionaire friend tell me everybody wants to borrow money off of him during this recession. He said they all could have been millionaires if they managed what they made when times were good. Something else I won't do is bail a friend or family out of jail.

3 felony charges and 11 misdemeanors. Why is it everything cost us money. Mamamo loaned a certain In-Law money to go back to work on this evening. The kid has been out of work for about 6 weeks. So he gave the money to his foreman to hold for his share of the expenses until payday. Now we find out a certain foreman was crusing around in a borrowed brown cadillac and now MamaMo is pissed. Looks like no ride back to work for a while.:rotf::rotf: It could have been worse at least it was her money this week.

It could have been a close call yesterday. We just pulled in from our atv ride at the camp. Shut the atv's off and heard sirens coming. We looked coming off the hill on RT 4 was a deputy sheriff chasing a brown caddy. The caddy turned onto our 1 lane country road and flew up by the camp with the deputy right on his tail. The caddy tried to climb the winding hill road behind our camp but may have spun out or got bumped out of the road. A few minutes later two state trooper cars flew by the camp and we heard them turn off the sirens about half way up the mountain. Ramona and I just came down that road a few minutes earlier. I waved at the deputy with his prize setting in the back seat. I gave the rollback driver a wave when he brought that caddy off the ridge down by the camp. The troopers managed to stop a dui on the way back to. So here is the thoughts for a new sign at the camp while were there. All LEO's free coffee or ice tea just for showing up on my end of the county.:cool10:

Geeez MamaMo waterfalls are like ant hills around here everybody has six. We do live on Horseshoe falls road you know. We got 1 in the front yard, 1 in the back yard, when it's raining with good run off I can see the one behind the neighbors house. The one you pictured is in front of our new property at Falls Mill. I seen one today dropping about 300 ft with spring run off. We have so many here there usually ignored by the locals as just another one. You got to remember the rest of these ladies are flat landers as in nothing like that for 300 miles if there lucky. Good luck scavenger hunters I'm out of this ladies thread. Just wanted to see what the wife was up to.:whistling:

Time of year for you guys to get some weather action. Hold on to your hats and anchor down those scooters. Looks like a wild ride tonight. MamaMo says no way she would live out there in flat land country. We get maybe 1-2 small tornadoes per year statewide here. Those are mostly very small scale with little damage. Good luck and this brings a question. Anybody every see a tornado when riding your scoot?

My 84 is doing fine with only 25k on it. I wonder if I should pull it down and replace the thrust plate and washer items before it goes later. I have some seals leaking now that need attention soon. I would like to get it on the bench and clean up those nasty tarnished engine cases. My spare 89 engine with only 15k could be installed for a while. -
I called Miss Utility and got mine marked. The only thing I hit was rock and more rock and rock,rock ,rock!!!

I got up this morning thinking about just maybe. Nice sunny afternoon 70 degree's but. The creek is up and muddy. Sitting here listening to hogs vibrating the windows as they go bye. So how was your ride?

My 84 sounds good.I cut that baffle groove off with a hack saw. Punched out the center and add drilled holes as needed. The more the deeper tone.Sounds good in the riders seat and still listen to tunes but those second gens behind me complain. -

My first road bike was a Triumph 750. If I can get a garage built on our new property soon and not have to deal with this creek crossing who knows? That Triumph R3 might have my name on it. That reminds me I might want to increase the size of my garage plans.

It's official spring is here. I have just received my annual 1-2 punch from mother nature. Allergies have me down for the weekend but it happens every year. After this is over in a few days I can think about getting the scoots out. I go through this every spring and fall.Guess I got to take sick leave for something.:sick: Forecast better days ahead.:cool10:
