I'm looking at buying a Long fram Tractor 1529 and was wondering if anyone here has one or used a long tractor in the past and any info. as for good or bad? I searched the net and seen good reviews on them but I was wondering if any in the family here has any views on them? Its kinda rough looking like me lol. but it runs really good no blow by and I see no leaks-diesel-oil-hyd. etc etc has new tires and lifts the 5ft brush hog with no problems so hyd. seem good.

I was out last night with the radio off and noticed that there is a loud clunk when I shift. Never heard it before. Wondering if I should be checking on something or if this is normal

My sidestand switch isn't working properly, and was looking for another one. As the part is discontinued, I was wondering........where do I get one? This is for my 84

I'm in Pigeon Forge for the week on vacation. This morning I saw a nice 2nd Gen trike at the hotel where I'm staying. It had Pennsylvania plates. I was wondering if it might be one of our members. Does anyone know if we have any members visiting here?

Anybody here have any experience with r1150gs or r1200gs? I'm thinking about buying one just wondering what owners or previous owners think about them.

Any one out there had any experience with JBM industies carb. diaphrams? I have seen positive results here with the Sirusconic diaphrams. Just wondering how the JBM diaphrams compare. Price with shipping is nearly identical. Jeff

I have a 2000 Royal Star Venture. The lights in the speedometer have quit working. The display still works and all the fuses have been checked. I believe it is something on the the circuit board that has burned out. Not sure how to go about diagnosing the culprit. Was wondering if anybody else has had this problem that has a fix. Do not really want to spend $1000.00 on a new speedometer unit.

Just wondering if the TCI from and 84 is interchangeable with one from an 88?

I'm in the habit of leaving my cb on with squelch set to around 16 when I ride, even if I'm not in a group. Just wondering... how many other's leave their cb turned on in case they come across another Venture rider going the other way?

I posted similar in the Wing section and not very much information there. So I supposed there might be other bikes that use this type hitch to. Just wondering please. Is there such a thing as too much seafoam ,, and is there a time limit to leave it soak . I am leaving my bike behind to go on a 3 week cruise(ship) and was wondering if it would hurt anything to leave seafoam soaking in my carbs?????

My clutch cover has a crack that a previous owner attempted to repair with some sort of epoxy(?). The repair has now let go and the cover leaks.. I don't know of any method of permanent repair on this material, so I'm wondering if anyone has a cover they are wiling to sell. Or do I have to go to fleabay? This is the 1300 cc engine. PM me if you have one you would like to sell.

I got the 91 Kawi Voyager here and the po put a new back Pirelli Route66 tire on it and it came with a new same front tire to be installed, anyone have an opinion on these tires since I have never had them. I took it for a ride and it starts and runs awsome but it needs cosmetic work, he also said that he put new progressive springs in, now that being said when I took it for a ride the front end felt like ice cream in the turns that is how I can explain it. I checked the air pressure in the tire and it was good I am wondering if he did something wrong, I don't know alot about the Kawi in terms of working on it and am wondering if someone can help me on the front end issue also. Tom

Anybody deal with Yamaha Sports Plaza in Fairview OR. I ordered some parts from them, and wonder how they are to deal with. They claim to be the biggest in NA, but they did take my money before they had all the parts together.... so I was just wondering.

I just received my run/stop/turn light from Super Bright LEDs. I know to mount it to the bolt holes between the helmet locks on my RSV, I need spacers, to set it out enough to clear the trunk. I have seen where some of you that have this light bar have used what looks like white plastic bushings. I'm wondering what they are and where did you get them? Or what have others used?

A friend had a Hyosung gt650r donated to his non-profit organization and he was aking me about selling the bike. I had never heard of the Brand. I have been reading about them but wondering if anybody had any personal experience with this brand of bike including parts accessibility etc.

I'm looking for any pictures of naked 1st Gens that are riders. Have a friend that has an 84 that the tupperware is pretty sun dried etc. Was thinking that instead of parting it out, maybe trying to strip it down and make a back up rider out of it. They look terrible plain naked, so I'm wondering how anybody dressed them up to make em look prettier than a 2nd Gen... dang...did I type that last part out loud ..?

I'm not very gun savvy, and was wondering if there is a handgun and rifle other than a 22 that can use the same ammo. I'd like to get something before the right is taken away! Thanks, Kenw
