Folks... Just found a great deal on Air horns and decided to let every one know. I bought the one for the motorcycles for $ 30.00 and got a couple extras for an old powerwagon that I'm rebuilding. I got the black ones but they also have the chrome and marine grade. Take a look at the website, it's simple and inexpensive....just thought I'd let you know. I belong to the Virago website, but it's not as user friendly for me. I know there are Virago owners on this website....so here's my question. I have a 95 1100 Virago. I am wondering if there are any wind deflectors to put on it. I've tried doing searches but haven't seen anything. Everytime I ride, I have to hold my left hand, palm down, by the gas tank to deflect the wind. The crazy thing is it's only the left side. Don't know if they make them for Virago's or not. Anyone have any knowedge?

You won't find a more adventurous and scenic ride then the Lake Superior Circle Tour. I did it in 2007 with a group of 5 other bikers (affectionately known as the Mild Hogs) and had a blast. This 1800 mile ride will take you all the way around the world largest fresh-water lake following the picturesque shoreline through Minnesota, Ontario, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We took seven days to truly enjoy the scenery but if you pushed it a bit you could shorten the ride. There's even a website dedicated to this ride. Once you complete the ride you can order a Circle Tour pin for your leather. http://www.great-lakes.net/tourism/circletour/superior/ Here's a link to the photos from our Circle Tour ride on the Mild Hogs website: http://www.ib4e.org/mildhogs2007.html My favorite Circle Tour stops: Split Rock Lighthouse Grand Marais (Oly & Svens for pizza) Sleeping Giant Provincial Park (spend a whole day visiting this beautiful park east of Thunder Bay) White River, ON (birthplace of Winnie-the-Pooh, you can laugh but you'll stop for a photo) Wawa, ON (cute little Canadian town) Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum (visit the Edmund Fitzgerald display) As a sidenote, I rode all five great lakes in 2008 from SE Minnesota to Niagra Falls and back and found the Circle Tour ride much prettier.

Folks, it has come time for me to simplify my life. I have too much going on to continue trying to run a site that I simply have no interest in. So, this website is for sale! NO...not VentureRider.org I said THIS website. That would be: http://www.touringhogs.com I started it when I was seriously considering buying a Harley but as you know, I never did that and there is a good chance that I never will. Therefore, I have just let the TouringHogs site just sit then and stagnate. I honestly believe that it has a lot of potential if somebody would put the time into it that I have put into VentureRider.org. So, if you know any Harley riders and/or businesses that might be interested, I'll be entertaining offers over the next 3 or 4 weeks.

I have a 99 RSV that has 57K miles, it runs great but the bike is almost 10 years old and I am thinking it is about time to replace all of the coolant hoses and maybe bearings, etc. I was wondering where everyone orders their stock parts from. My last bike was a VTX and there was a website 'HDL.com' that everyone recommended. Also can anyone think of anything else that they would recommend be replaced on a bike with fairly high miles?

Here is a website that says it lists all pull behind trailers in North America. If you are interested in a trailer it keeps you from having to search all over for each one. http://aerobourne.com/motorcycletrailerindex9.htm

Even with my 40+ years experience working on bikes and cars, I still occasionally need help with the idiosyncrasies of an individual vehicle. Take for example I searched for "wander" and found the fix almost immediately. How to check the "Boost Sensor". And many other repairs. I will have to remove the engine to fix 2nd gear and the entire procedure is right here. Thank You All. I had a BMW K1200LT. Their website is formated much like this one but Yamahas are so much more reliable and easy to work on, I see almost no negativity here. Thank you all for your help.

I am on their website, click on the contact link and nothing comes up. Anyone have their phone #? Thanks. Jerry.

HLFTONCHRRY!!! A couple of weeks ago he offered bag liners, trunk pack and a nice owners manual to anyone for the price of shipping. I happen to be at the right place at the right time and responded. Well, I got them in the mail yesterday and I felt like it was Christmas!! When I tried to get out of him how much shipping was to keep up my end of the deal, he said not to worry about it, on account of how much this website has done for him. I sent what I thought would cover it, but just goes to show there are a lot of great people on this forum! HLFTONCHERRY....thank you again, and we expect a call when your in the area!!

I am looking for any feedback about this Company, RMStator, from Quebec. I have lost my stator, and need a replacement. I've seen these guys mentioned in a few posts and am wondering about the quality of the stator they are selling. Also, I have an '89 VR, and their website lists the stator as being compatible with '90 - '93. My understanding is that '86 - '93 (at least) is the same, can anyone comment? Thanks for any and all comments and opinion! Kevin

Arkansas has a brochure of great motorcycle rides in the state. They have an online version of the brochure to download and a motorcycle video that you watch. Here is the link to the website: http://www.arkansas.com/outdoors/motorcycling/ Thought there might be someone who is thinking of riding in Arkansas this year.

I copied this from my local chapters forum of the SCRC. Please read and if you wish leave a message on her web site. Keith. Good morning, I would like to ask everyone to do me a huge favor. We would like all of our members and guests to go to this website and leave a message for a special young lady. Angelica has little time left but has an incredible outlook on life. Please check out the website and her story. We are assisting on this fundraiser in the background. I have been asked to take her for a short ride on the 12th during the fundraiser to help cover the costs associated with illness. So get on there , please and sign her guest book. She reads it everyday before bed and I want to fill it up with SCRC members. http://www.azmiracle.com/ Regards and a very Merry Christmas to all of you http://people.delphiforums.com/nofear37/John_Tricia.jpg "This country has lost control of its borders.
