I've kinda been kicking around having some "old school" striping done. Since I've taken the 'bag rails off I kinda like the look, but it "needs" something. This months issue of Baggers has pics of a Volusia project bike that has kinda what I'm leaning towards, not anything big, just a few lines here and there. I've sorted thru several pics here, but haven't found what I've got in mind. So, does anybody have anything like that on their rides. Help/ideas/input is appreciated.

Can anyone tell me if there is an aftermarket replacement lens/reflector for the rear of the travel bag on the '85 Royal. I thought I saw one somewhere on the net but can't seem to find it now. I seem to recall it may have had some LED's in it as well. Any help would be appreciated!

We decided, rather impulsively, to make a weekend run from Dallas to Fredericksburg, Tx. tomorrow. Was wondering if any members might have suggestions for rides, good restaurants, and/or bars. I have never been there, but a co-worker has given me a few ideas. Since we are leaving Sat. morning and won't take a computer, any thoughts on Friday night would be appreciated. Also, if anyone is in that area, maybe we could get together. We are staying overnight at the Hog Stop Inn (one of those suggestions).

I am thinking about buying some Rivco Air horns for my 2007 RSV. Does anyone know if there is a sound clip on line that will let me know what they sound like. Are there other options that might be better. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks JR

Somewhere I have picked up spy-schredder and I can not uninstall it. I even went on their web site and it would not bring up their homepage. It has slowed down my computer and everytime I turn it on I have to go thru a bunch of crap just to get it off the screen. Any help is appreciated and any instructions need to be basic. I just had to x out a popup on spy-schredder as I was writing this. Thanks, RandyA

any blank note cards they would be willing to donate. I asked Grey Ghost for a list of items which he thought would be appreciated by the members serving in the Middle East. One of the items he recommended was blank general usage cards that they can write a short message in to send out to friends and family. I have contacted Hallmark to see if we can make a bulk purchase at cost. I am also going to contact Leaning Tree with a similar request. In the meanwhile, if you are like me (perish the thought) you are probably being bombarded with requests from every imaginable charitable group in the country. Well, in a lot of the solicitations I get, they include a stack of cards and note pads. So, I was thinking (and that is where I start getting into trouble) that if any of the members here had some of those cards that they would like to donate to a good cause, maybe you could just send them to me and I can include them in the packages we are putting together. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated........

Ok - the Zumo pkg is here -- nicely thought out. But where does that huge magnetic XM antenna go? There does not appear to be mounting holes on the back of the mc cradle. Suggestions appreciated, DREBBIN

The manual recommends 80W. Amsoil makes several from 75W-90 to 75W-110 to 75W-140. What are you using? Some of Amsoil's is labeled "Severe Gear Oil". Is this overkill or is it good? Reasons why you use whatever it is you use is also appreciated. Thanks.

Summer is just around the corner and I have been giving some consideration to removing the front cowling. The only hesitation I have is what to do with the air filters. My question to all you much more intelligent wrenches is, can I remove the cowling without damage to the engine and what to do with the air intake? Can I modify this somehow? I have been unable to find any type of velocity stack or hyper charger to put in its place. Any thoughts or ideas, even if you all say it can not be done, is appreciated. BTW, I have the air defectors on the bike already. Works great when the temps are around 80 to 90. When we hit the triple digits, especially on the new asphalt roads, they don't seem as effective.

Finally got my Long Horn Offsets, Were on BO for awhile. I'm mounting them on my 93, and was wondering if anyone had mounted these on a 1st Gen before. They seem to have all the possible adjsutment anyone could want and I know I can find a comfy place for them, but would like to do it once if possible. Any photos would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan
