    if anybody is looking for a litebar like the one i installed , i found them here , http://www.chromeglow.com/catalog.asp?prodid=561931&showprevnext it has tail , turn and brake like . what i did is run 2 diodes in the turn sigs wires than run the brake wire to the 2 diodes . Thom

    i am coming out again ! just got done with the repairs after the lady backed over the bike all painted and just need to polish it out . the paint is pro shop , white base , metallic med coat and clear coat , there is a few things painted metallic blue - front dic. covers . bag rails , drink holders . got the news macs on : THANKS Condor : also installed a led lite bar that has running lites , turn , and brake lites removed the helmet locks and cheated , glued the bar on : THANKS Wildhair lov Amazing Goop : the next thing to do is move the trunk back , and install led clusters on the bottom lite bar and than paint the trailer to match . only get one day off a week now so it is slow work . was trying to get every thing done to show it off at the Rally but my pet sitter aka son moved back to Memphis last week so have nobody to watch the dog and cat , the dog would lov to ride in the trailer but the 3 cats would come unglued . So what do you all think ? is white my color ? Thom the pic's got out of sink on the upload - brown , silver , blue and leather , finally white

    i have the V max 4 brush starter , it is great ! i tryed the bigger cables , new battery , even charged the battery at nite , change all but head lite to led , even rebuilt my stock starter nothing worked untill i got a vmax starter . i've had it for 9 mo's now and never a problem . Thom p s , when i bought it i asked for a 86 4 brush vmax starter , cost me 89 bucks , it is a after market , i think a API ?

    like you i have pulled many of trailers many miles and have had that wobble too , when i stop before making a turn i stop short so i can roll a few feet forward before making the turn . when making a turn from a dead stop the bike wants to turn but the trailer want to go straight . if you watch some body make a sharp turn from a dead stop you will see the trailer at one point turn the other way , if you make the turn moving the bike is leaning and will turn smoothly . think about it , turning the handle bars or leaning into a turn witch is eazyer . stopping is more fun ! make sure the bike is straight in front of the trailer when stopping because the trailer will push you around .     I have the same problem but the doc well not operate on me for tcs so i changed bars . now my rite grip is farther froward than my left and sticks almost straight out instead of pulled back . if you can try some one's cruiser with the grips sideways you will see what i mean . the bars i have on my 1st gen are off a Voyager with 4 in risers 1 1/2 in back works very good Thom

    drove in to Corpis yesterday to get my new e 3 put on , took the wheel and new tire to the Yamaha dealer was told they will not work on my bike ' to old i said i have the wheel off , than was told they don't install tires they don't sell . i tried a few other shops , same thing ! stopped a HD rider and was told to have it done at a local custom shop , only cost 30 bucks , i got to the custom shop , had to listen to the bad mouthing about jap bikes , how much money the tire machine cost , also was told if i bought food at the store would i take it to a cafe to get it cooked but sence i was from out of town he would put it on for me but no warranty for 45 bucks and than was told to leave it and he would call me when he got around to it , i told him it was not worth me driving 80 miles round trip plus 45.00 to have it done i'd stick around [ i wanted to watch him to make sure he did it rite ] finlley after a hour making friends with him he installed my new tire and and did it rite i paid him 45.00 . he found the receit in the tire , 116.00 what i paid retail 179.00 , i ask him what he would charge for the the tire and do's he buy tires off the internet WOW did that start a fire ! he told me he only buys tires from Drag Spec. and never from the internet ! ok , i pic up my wheel , said thanks and left the building . in my bus. i install parts custermers bring in all the time , i like the money and when i sell parts i tack on 17 to 35 % on the whole sale price , i have a 7000.00 power bill a month and i can buy a whole lot cheaper and not have to pay shipping because i buy in large amounts , when i owned a small one man shop i loved cust. bringing in there own parts , no stocking , no shipping , no taxs , i did not have to be out of any money only labor . i forgot one thing , i asked every m/c shop i went to , do a lot of riders buy tires off the net and was told yes , than i asked do a lot of riders install there own ? again yes , not one shop got what i was saying ! O'well i think it is time to buy a tire machine ! Thom

    i just ordered a new tire form them did not get the discount , the password did not work:confused24: but the price is rite and free shipping . thanks for the sku# i could not find the rite size with out it also did not get the 1-3 day shipping read the fine print , tires are ground shipped only . 116.99 is not a bad price and no hassle , now i need to cool my heels untill it gets here Thom

    i am looking for a new E 3 front tire and cked out 1 of our venders here , they still have E 2 s for sale but not E 3 s , has anybody bought a 1st gen E 3 from them ? they look good , free shipping + VR.O discount small mines want to know ???? aka me Thom

    many , many moons ago i pulled other bikes behind me , i built a trailer just to do it , i sold it to a guy in Co. and i here he still uses it , the trailer had 10 in. tires , 4 in. drop axles , 4 in. drop tongue . on the tongue i welded two eyes . when i loaded the bike , i pull the front tire off , used the axle to bolt the forks to the two eyes . i have pulled a yz 100 , 305 dream and a gs 500 and once a 1000 sporty but i pulled the rear tire too . i have pulled over 700 ibs. with my 1st gen upto 55mph but the stopping was the hard part . i have learned something the hard way if you are trying to stop a heavy trailer , make shure the bike is straight in front the trailer it is not a fun feeling having your rear pushed sideways . i think any trailer over 450 lbs should have brakes and have installed them before on HDs and Wings but problem with elec. brake contral is not enough hands to hit the emer. brake slide when needed .     Yep , you got it rite , i run it on high when 2 up and have trailer on or doin hard twistys and low on long flat roads when i want a very soft ride . remember always air the front one 1st than the rear . i lov the the CLASS i can change the ride to fit me and my load and not have to use a hand pump .     You can come south , lot of people getting sun burned down here plus i have beer , bath and bed , Jerryw and Steve are in today and tomorrow , Pounch will be down Thursday and Skyking and me are here all the time . plus there is a DQ 1 mile down the road . Thom

    a little info , i can tell when i need to change my oil , hard to shift and the clutch slips , i pour a 1/2 can of sea foam in the oil , let the motor run at idle a few mins. than change the oil wala ! no more slipping ! Thom
