the 0ne battery runs the motor , jacks and steps . the two batterys hooked together run the furnace , refer , all the inside lites , fart fan in bathroom , water pump , monitor panel , plug in the shore power cord and all of the house 12volt stuff will work off the power converter, the power converter also charges the 2 batterys that are hooked together , there are two fuse panels the one up front is for the truck and the one next to the 120 volt circuitbreakers is for the house . most of the time if you look at the wire comming from the house fuses you will see each wire is a dif. color . ex. open the outside door behind the refer you should see the 12 volt wires going to the refer , the white wire is always the ground ,the colored wire will go strait to the house fuse box look in the fuse box and find out witch fuse that colored wire gos to . the only things that run on a 120 volt are the power converter , a/c , mic. oven and t/v. the refer runs on 120 v. heating elements or lp. gas but the brains runs on 12 v. ok , on the nuts side , i have pulled over 700 lbs with 86 1st gen and i think Jeff aka Muffinmam has come close to that weight too , but i have built my bike to do it , 1st mod i did is install R-1 / R-6 brakes and heave tread tires Kenda krus the 1st time E-11 the 2nd time , the kendas cupped with in 4000 miles but braking and power cornering was not bad , remember when powering around a corner , all that wieght pulls side ways . when i left Fl. me , the bike and trl wieghted 1657 lbs , i rode upto Memphis , across Ar. on 412 to Tulsa than down 77 to here , i had E-11 tires with 42 lds in the frount and 45 lbs in the rear and my class was to the max BUT REMEBER I AM NUTS and have allways pulled a trl. , i pulled a trl. behind a 305 honda dream back in 72 . i think to be safe never pull a trl. over 1/2 the wieght of the bike , taking off with a trl. with our bikes is eazy but a brake up grade is needed and you need a heavy tread tire and if you think it is a lot fun making a turn on sand , gravel or wet roads wait untill you do it with a heavy trl. remeber ! don't just do it because somebody has , learn how 1st than pratice ! the engine battery only runs the chassis , the house battery runs every thing else , check the bat. disconet sw. it mite be above the camper door , some are on the dash and read mom./ duel . also check the tank mon. panel , the most likely have a house batt. mon. on that panel , if i was a work i would check out the one i have in the shop , it is a 86 or 88 to tell you where the batt. disconet sw. is . what is not working in the rv ? -
Lowell , you ain't gonna get one , there is no wiring diagrams for rv's , the only thing that is a drawing that says there is a wire going from the battery to the camper not where it is at or what it do's what do you need to know about that 86 p.a. give me a call and i can work you throw it . you all zumo 550 owners are going to hate this buuuuut , you need to check out the new zumo 660 , the lane change thingy is pretty cool , do's a little bit more than the 550 plus garman's base price is lower . i keep reading about the 550 here and yu'all talked me into maybe getting one with XM , so i go looking for more info , even had the plastic out , went to the garmin site and found the 660 so i am going to sit back just a little longer , by the way is there a gps with xm built in ? yesterday i was working on a new m/h and had to go to the back bedroom , oops no bedroom ! no bed what was there was a slidout on each side with a large media center , 2 large easy chairs , 50 in plasma tv , very nice but no place to sleep , the owner hit a button , king size murphy bed . the m/h had a built in bar , dishwasher , 3 more tvs , 3 backup cameras , w/d , tile floors , bathtub , a shower 3 people could fit in and a lot more . it is 44 ft long with 4 large sideouts , 500 hp cat. motor , gets 7 mpg and only sleeps 2 . the owner said he got a $ 100,000 off the sticker price , so now is the time to buy a m/h , you can save a lot of money . i think everybody should go out and buy a new M/H and save a lot of money just like this guy did ! buy the way it only cost him $ 387,000 , what a deal and a plus for me is he has had it for less than 30 days and i get $ 3,000 repair bill , makes my day ! yep , alot of dealerships have gone out of bus. and a lot of factory's have closed . that is the main reason i left fl. is because half of the dealerships closed but for some reason people are buying 5th wheels here in tx. even with the gas prices are down we cannot sell a motorhome ! Thom

beer i like the basement heatpumps too they make me a whole lot of money !!! to tell the truth the basements a/c cost a lot more $$$ and cost a lot more to repair ! the holes in the roof for the roof top a/cs are just the crank open vents that have been removed and a/c s install , if you do not have a a/c on the roof you still will have the holes . a basement a/c cost between 2500 to 3500 $ a roof top cost between 587.00 to 1100.00 another plus is all RV dealerships can work on a roof top a/c and less than 50 rv techs. in the USA can work on the basement a/cs . when i went to school to learn how to repair the basement a/c even my factory rep teacher said they are a nitemare but he said as long as people want them they will keep making them , i have a 2008 winni in the shop now with a bad basement a/c and it will take a week to 10 days to get the parts in . if they had a roof top a/c , i could have changed the whole a/c out in 1 hour and sent them on there way but the people are in a motel rite now . Do you know that you can get a motorhome toyhouse ? lots of storage and a place for the scoot all in one and i here the prices are at rock bottom rite now for toyhouses . nobody is buying toyhouses so it is a buyers market . Thom
