sorry to here this. i always worry about mishaps to and from meets. when you have so many people something is bound to happen. hope thay are both okay. prayers are sent. bill

just got off the phone with wildhair. he posed a question about tent camping. there will be plenty of room for tent camping adjacent to the motel, and there is a motel room available with a shower and toilet that the campers can use. there is also plenty of room for motorhomes and campers on concrete but no hook ups. they will also have access to the bathroom and shower. the charge for motorhomes, campers, and tent camping is $10.00 per night. we are planning on having the barbeque on tuesday night. it will be pay when you eat. if you want to do that. still waiting for info on the karaoke, thursday night after the meal. do we have anyone attending that does karaoke? we will take a poll in july on who will be eating at the barbeque so randall at the hub can figure the food. thats the latest info. bill

the big catered dinner is on wednesday night. we may have a barbeque on tue. or thur. night, put on by the hub that will be pay when you eat. that is still in the planning.

ethanol sucks. it's the biggest get rich quick scheme going. it's about time people get there head out of their okole's before this country is totally brought to it's knees. it is on the brink right now. lets just go ahead and finish it off. nuff said. snarley bill ps. how low do we have to go before people see the light.

just got back from the final run to the hub, to tie up the loose ends. shared a room with la pryor, so we got the first hand scoop on the accommodations. the room was nice and large and had a refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, kingsize bed ( i had a room with single bed). i ate lunch and dinner there and my meals were great. had a slight malfunction at dinner on the service but they took care of it. randal and his wife, the owners bent over backwards to make our stay a-1. hit alot of rain going down, and out ran the rain coming home. the ambassador recruited some new venture riders. all in all it was a great time, and we got to see buddy's new wing first hand. really nice. i think the 09 rally is going to be a great success. looking forward to seeing everyone there. bill

thanks group for the donations so far. we finally got dooder a job. he is going to be the recipient of the donations, cuz he is going to have to cage it to the 09 rally. his address is, john smith, hc1 box240, gainesville, mo. 65655. anyone that is sending prize donations send them to john. keep letting the folks know what they are on this thread. so everyone knows what they have to look forward to. thanks to all in advance for your donations. bill

any one that would like to donate something for the drawing at the 09 rally is more than welcome to. i have already had several people donate things. for now just think about it and we will come up with an address where you can send it, or just bring it with you to the rally. all donations will be appreciated. want to see every one leave with a prize. the drawing will be at the last dinner and you must be present to win, accept for the trailer. if you have something to donate pm me. thanks in advance. the more we have to give away the more fun. bill

i'm getting loaded for the hub ( the bike that is). the bus leaves st. charles, at 5am tomorrow morning, if anyone wants to ride along. guess i will take the rain bike. looks like some possible showers. which one is the rain bike, you may ask? it is the dirtiest one in the garage, the v-star. haven't washed it since last summer. who all is coming? i got a rough idea. if anyone wants beer that is staying over it is a dry county and the hub will have ice so bring your own. see you there about 11 am. bill

was trying to stay on the side lines on this one , but since i have the answer to the ultimate in long distance comfort i just got to let it out. i have tried everything. here's what works best. get a loose fitting pair of jeans, some cheap walmart talcum powder, and don't wear that crappy restrictive underwear at all. i got the idea from kramer on seinfeld. it works great. then for the ultimate,ad an alaskan sheepskin. i rode a 625 mile 97 degree day in complete comfort. bill

many thanks brad and lonna, you sure got me out of this mess. never dreamed this would snowball like this. if i can help you out in any way just holler. i think the stickers are neat cuz when you meet strangers you can point to the windshield and say just check out that web site. thats what i do. bill

i talked with lonna about the decals and she has about ten silver, and ten black left. she can have more made up. if any one wants some contact sweetnothin (lonna) or squidley (brad). lonna will supply them to you. never dreamed we would have this much responce. sorry lonna and brad if i created a monster for you. bill

we will get the rooms straightened out. i will try to make sure every one has got a roof over there head. i can sleep standing up. all i need is a shower and a place to get dressed. i can sleep under the stars. this may turn out to be a chinese fire drill, but we will have a good time. randy said he will work with us. bill
