  1. No tree. Just drew picture of one on the cave wall and have it year round.Smells natural too.

  4. Yep,I'm a possum blonde.
  5. At $3 per gallon I try to stay away from that stuff.Previous owner swore to me he filled the tank 7 years ago,and I believe him.
  6. Muffinman came and worked on the 86 and it ran GREAT for a couple weeks.I let it sit a couple weeks and it hasn't started since. The "wait two days" is because I don't have the patience to try and start it everyday.
  7. My 99....14,000 miles this year.My 86....250 miles this year.My 99,turn on the key,hit the start switch,drive away..My 86..turn on key,hit the start switch,wait 2 days then try again.....wait 2 days then try again...wait 2 days then try again...wait 2 days then try again.Spent more time waiting than I did riding the 99........Anyone want to buy a 1st gen?
  8. Been using mine since about 1998.Before I got mine I would wake myself up snoring and sometimes I kicked like a mule in my sleep. The doctor said the kicking was jump starting my heart, which had stopped beating, when I stopped breathing in my sleep.Scared me really bad.Did the sleep test and never go anywhere without the machine.I had no problem using the nose mask.I do occasionally wake up with my ribs hurting......from the wife hitting me to see if I was still alive. She said I lay all night in the same position sleeping and never move. Before the machine I tossed and turned so bad I actually moved the bed while sleeping.Give it a chance, they do work.at least for me it does.
  9. I got one
  10. :cool10:My uniform didn't even fit when I was in.Oh,I forgot,I spent the last 10 years of service wearing street clothes.Tough job but someone had to do it.

  13. MR Motorcycles is where I bought my RSV but there is no way I would ever use their services. As soon as I drove out the door they had already forgot that I even existed .If you own a Honda or a KAWA they will bend over backwards for you.Sorry about your bad experience with those folks. If you had went 20 miles south on the same road to Harpers Yamaha in Hendersonville NC you would have been treated like family. My first experience with Harpers I picked up a nail in the rear tire on my V Star. They didn't have my size in stock so they sent a man over to the Kawa dealer and got one and installed it on my bike.I was there a total of 30 minutes.if you are ever in the area keep these good folks in mind.
  14. Nothing up here in the mountains of western North Carolina.
  15. Great idea.Count me in.And the zoo.........that would be a good place to drop the 1st gens off.
  16. My 86 HAD to go on the trailer twice. My 99.......Had to pull that trailer.:rotf::rotf:
  17. I like the way mine is mounted.I took the sidecar off, need rear shock and brakes.Took about 1 hour to remove but that was with trial and error.I can now remove it in 15 minutes.Found the best order to remove the 4 mounting bolts and I put a plug on the wires so I can just disconnect them for removal. And yes you are right, takes some getting used to but it is a blast cruising with the sidecar.
  18. Sure sounds like the sidecar tire is not properly aligned.I have a sidecar on my 99 .thought about a damper but minr steers pretty good without one.
  19. Pictures .Where did you get the sidecar installed?
  20. I have a 1st gen and a 2nd gen so I take all comments personal:bighug:
  21. Add me to your list..A Rooster with a bra. That should turn heads.
  22. The dealer that installed the sidecar made the brackets that attach the sidecar.Motorvation Sidecars does have a subframe for the RSV but it is like $250.The dealer that did mine is in Flowery Branch GA.

    Lost Key

I bought two Yamaha blanks from my dealer for 7 bucks each.had them cut at a locksmith for 3 bucks for the two.
  25. I have a sidecar on my 99 and putting a 165SR15 on it.It's the same height and width as the 150/90/15 on the bike now.I took a used tire and mounted it on a VW wheel and it fit perfect so in my assumption the 165 will fit on the MC wheel.Could be mistaken but gonna try it.I love the sidecar.i have the Velorex.Which one do you have?
