  1. We do not have progressive fork springs on our trike. Have not noticed that our front end dives. Our front end is very stiff. As for steering, our front end is light with E-Z Steer. Between E-Z Steer and a rear tire up front, have not noticed any difficulties traveling crowned roads. I would dread cornering at highway speeds when we had a front tire at 35 psi and forks set at 0 psi. Now our front is stiff, and I can set cruise control at 70 mph and never worry about making turns. Rode to the Florida Keys and back and ride handled great, even in the mountains. Our rear tire up front also only lost 1/32" out of 11/32" in almost 4,000 miles. I will not change anything.
  2. When we first got our Hannigan conversion, we had severe head shake on large bumps. Now have a rear tire up front, 40 psi in tire and 4 psi in front shocks. Touched nothing else. We have no more head shake. Of course, front is stiff.
  3. It is one image of the world that I cropped. Use: http://www.travbuddy.com/travel-widgets to create a world map. Take a screen snapshot. Paste snapshot into Paint. Save Paint file as a JPEG file. Edit JPEG file by cropping image until you get what you want.
  4. Cool, we can do the whole world as one image and crop it as desired.
  5. You can copy the two images into Paintbrush and save the composite as a JPEG file.
  6. Our trike was built the summer of 2010. Our rear brakes work fine, and the rotors are not scored. The squealing is just annoying. Thanks for the tip.
  7. Hi Russ, We live in Cranford. I just got back from the Florida Keys ride on Tuesday. The weather was beautiful down there. Keep telling Jeannette that I feel cold.......
  8. Hmm... We will be at Maggie Valley, NC in June. A side trip to Nashville, TN and Murray, KY sounds inviting. Would like to visit the Hannigan factory.
  9. Our rotors are cast, and rear brakes squeal quite often. There is no scoring of the rotors. The squeal has been there since our trike was very young. Hannigan dealer insinuated that I glazed the rear brakes, and I would have to pay to have them replaced. I certainly would not pay them for the same type of brake material. Are your SS rotors and hard pads quiet? Would be a pain to replace our brakes after only 10,000 miles.
  10. Jeff, I'm still in Florida Keys mode, but where did you get the stainless steel rotors and hard pads? Thanks!
  11. Had a great trip, 3,877 miles in 13 days. Did not drive three days (waiting for others at Savannah, walking at Key West and visiting friends at Palm Harbor near Tampa). Arrived home safe and sound this afternoon. Thanks Joe for putting on this wonderful event!! Enjoyed time spent with everyone in our group. Great bunch of folks!!
  12. At Tampa, staying with long time friends........ We did go charter boat fishing at Whale Harbor and caught a whole lot of yellow-tail snapper. Bought a hook and cook meal at a local restaurant. Snapper was great! Wednesday and Thursday we stayed at Papa's Hideaway at Key West. We mostly parked the bikes and walked. Walked my feet off for two days, beautiful city and met some great folks. BrakePad was an excellent tour guide. Had a wonderful stay. We all rode back together up until we got close to Fort Lauderdale. I split off from our group and drove to Tampa. Arrived after dark last evening. Having a nice stay here. Our friends have a beautiful home. Will set off for home tomorrow.
  13. Our plans are to be charter boat fishing from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm at Whale Cove, approximately mile marker 83.5. Check with harbor master or give us a call. We will then ride to Key West. Hope you can join us for the ride to Key West.
  14. Hi Folks, Went on a glass bottom boat this morning. Nice views, nice weather and nice time. We are planning to go snorkeling at 5:30 pm. After seeing all the barracuda, I'm asking myself "Really?" We started arrangements for charter boat fishing tomorrow morning. Depends on whether we get a headcount of five. There is a couple interested in sharing, so we may go. Had snapper for lunch. It was yummy. Would like to go to Snapper's restaurant tonight. We'll see how the guys feel. Busy down here with lots of bikes/trikes.
  15. Our trike is red with black sides, but did not bring our trailer...... Joe has black RSV with cooler in his trailer hitch. Steve has a Harley Heritage Softtail. Hope we see you this week.......
  16. Hi Folks, We just checked into our Hotel at Tavernier, just beyond Key Largo. Will be here two nights on our way to Key West. We had a great trip. My butt is a little sore.... Glad I stayed that extra day in Savannah. The guys from WV/Ohio hit a terrible storm with flooding rain and hail. As for me, I had sunshine all the way. We look out for each other, and do serious riding with restful breaks. We also rotate our formation spots, which makes things interesting. Nice that these guys are seasoned riders and lived/traveled here before. Makes the going painless, except for my butt. Looks like we are down to 3 people from the original 13. Oh well, I'm here. Lots of sunshine and blue skies. Temperatures are very mild. It's wonderful to finally be here. Now it's party time...... Thanks Joe for posting the status update. Thinking of you folks......
  17. Start Florida Keys Ride first thing in the morning. Will meet CaptainJoe near Savannah on Sunday morning.
  18. As for the Saints, if you play dirty then you can expect to pay the price. As for Tebow, hope the Jets get him.....
  19. Congrats MarCarl........... We greatly appreciate your service.......
