That would be nice, I got stuck parking in a spot that was a bear to back out of last week, enough down and left angle to make it really awkward to inch back out. I parked next to a wing and until I stopped never thought about it. grrrrrr

It must have gotten some oil or it would have locked up on you and if all the dash lights worked something would have screamed. I agree with FF, do a compression check and see what your numbers are. I wonder if there was enough friction to turn it to deliver some oil, better lucky than good.

They make a brush on a flex rod to clean those out, not expensive and I believe it's required pm anyways. Usually a screw holding it, brush and vac then try again, doesn't take much debris to cause an issue.

the hardley pumps are up in cost, still #1 choice -
everything above, should be no green, plus make sure the cb is off and that if u r using it the sq is up. does it let you scroll through to the cassette, am fm . . .

I'd still do the seafoam before pulling carbs. a heavy dose in fresh gas, drive as normal but let them soak , drive and soak , , , you would be surprised at how it will clean the carbs up, I would go a couple tanks. Once all done pull the plugs and replace then check her for heat.

did you get the install manual?? with the bike off , plug one end into your c-bus connector coming into the saddle bag. Plug the end going to your ipod it into the #1 port, connect your ipod and have it in itunes playing music. Turn your bike to accy and turn the radio on. It will display 1-1 (for the channel) when it is recognised. Now change the song as you would for the radio station. It will display 1-1 again after a second or two. You can go to http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/service/viewmanuals/viewmanuals.aspx?ls=star select a 2011 or 2012 model venture and look at the radio section.

My 2 cents, while you have the fairing split put on a bracket to relocate the driving lights, never an issue again and you can split it without removing them in the future. . .
