I may put it in the $1250 range. But your CLASS problem may be a fuse, those glass fuse holders are not very good. May be worth more, may be less. Without a pic and riding it , or hearing it it is very hard to tell. Shaun

Yea I agree they got it bad. They defend our rights and freedoms, willingly walk into harms way, and give everything they have for this country. In return we might give them a medal and a handshake. I have a lot of respect for those guys, and pray for there safe return. Shaun

Seriously thinking this guy I got is ripping me off. He told me today that it will cost about $7 just for the materials to make one. I think I am starting to smell something funny. Shaun

I hope he does. I looked around the classifieds and did not find any decals so I just figured the ones I had seen had been special made. Thank You, Shaun

Yes that is what I am having made. I will be talking with him some more today. I think I will talk to him AFTER his wife gets there, she gives better prices. Shaun

Anyone near Iowa interested in participating in a parade? My wife got volunteered to help with planning this years Crooked Creek parade and is looking to expand the usual ten float parade. She suggested that I see if there are at least 6 people interested, me plus 5. Have no idea how I get roped in on these things but we got to keep our other half happy ,right? Shaun Around August 6th

Well during the five days preceding labor day we have The Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant Iowa with several nice museums open. Everything from early 20th century steam engines to 1980's cars. Shaun

They will be approximately 14 inches long and about 2 inches tall, in various colors. He can also do multiple colors on one decal. The more that are made the cheaper they get. They will be about $8.50 each, shipped. Shaun

Will be having him cut the decals next week. I believe he will do 12 for $100 so I think I will get the dozen done first and post pics of them. I have one claimed and I want two of them so there are nine up for grabs. Shaun

Mine will run the tape but no audio. Bites too, I got a bunch of tapes. Shaun

Nothing else major. Oil change and new plugs. That was it. I put new plugs in last fall so they were not that old and oil change almost every month. But not only did I figure the mileage so did the gas station attendant. So I know that THIS time I got almost 72 MPG. Shaun

Well my little silverwing always did decent on gas at around 55mpg. Well last weekend I put in some sea-foam and rand it for just a bit. It has sat for couple days. Me and a friend decided to take advantage or a beautiful day and went for a ride. Total distance was 208 miles. Total gas I used 2.9 gallons. So my mileage has gone up to almost 72 mpg!!! Sea-foam is awesome. Just wanted to share. Ohh yea if you ever find yourself behind a manure spreader pass it as quickly as possible and convince yourself that was mud that was falling of of it. I am planning on having him make up a few at least so I can show what he does. He is very interested in doing more for bikes. He does a lot for race cars, company vehicles, cars, and trucks. He also does signs. Once I have a couple made up I will post pics, Shaun P.S. I do apologize if I stepped on any toes. Shaun

That is a way cool webcast. Thank You for sharing. Shaun

I got to talking with the guy that used to do all my lettering for my race cars. He says that it would be easy for him to do up a vinyl decal that we can put on the scoots pretty easy. Now if only 1 is made it is $10. However the more I can get made the cheaper each one becomes. Now if anyone wants this I am willing to mail them out to everyone once they are made so the only cost will be the decal itself. But I may be out of line even having one made for my bike. I just thought if I could get a dozen or so made that would get him to keep the templates on hand it would be neat. Shaun PS- if this is in the wrong forum feel free to move it and beat me with a wet noodle. Shaun

OK this is a pretty dumb question. But here I go: How do you scam on craigslist? You have an item, you post it for sale, then take down the add once it is sold. Where is the problem? I have not used craigslist for anything yet. Just curious. Shaun

I am sure it can be done. I have towed some heavy stuff with small vehicles. If you are going to do it I would say try it for a bit around home and learn how the trailer (with the bike on it) and your bike handle that way. It is bound to be a whole new set of skills. Trailer brakes and maybe finding a way to put a little more weight on the forks as well. Will follow this thread and see how it works out. Never know, you may come up with the perfect combination that others will be able to use. Shaun

Until I drove a buddies Venture I did not even know Yamaha made them. After that ride I had to have one. Lets see, in 3 months my harley spend a total of maybe 75 miles on the road and many, many hours in the shop, my Honda going on 5 years with her and nothing major yet put over 65000 miles on her now, but she just dont work good for long trips. So now I have a Venture and am looking forward to several long rides this summer. Shaun

That aint no doubt there. Vertigo is so wild that you can not even think, period. I went through a bout of it due to a viral infection. I hope to NEVER do that again. I went to the doc, got some meds, and he pulled my drivers license for 30 days. Aint been back to a doctor again. I do understand why though, to have that come on suddenly while you are driving would not be good. I feel for you man. Get better and ride safe. Shaun

Sounds like a good day. Also sounds like you got a really good best friend there. Thanks for the new chapter, looking forward to the next. (Me and my wife are looking forward to it) Shaun

Sounds like this guy just wants you to say he is right so he feels good. I agree with you that it sounds like ignition or compression. But some guys just cant hear. Shaun

My mom is going to be doing the resoldiring and replacing the diodes, as that is what she does for a living. I do have a 12 slot spade fuse style fuse block for it, just need to get it in. Lots to to, with the main problem being that riding season is here. Shaun
