Do we have any cabinet makers here, I need advice
ragtop69gs replied to Midrsv's topic in Watering Hole
I would suggest that you mark, then score the cut line with a razor knife along a steel straight edge ( both in and outside). Then make your exterior cuts with a fine toothed Japanese hand saw, cutting 1/2 way through the panel then complete the cut from the inside of the garage. It's gonna take a slow, steady hand to make those cuts. When they set the top they can use silicone on the inside to hold the garage sides stable. -
Welcome to the site, from another 01' RSV owner. You even have the same colors. Judging by your second picture, you may have a bit of trouble reaching the ground... unless you have some TALL platform shoes :rotf:

Looks good to me. Your call.

Here it gets too cold to ride...There it gets too hot to ride. Here I can add layers to keep warm... There if I take off enough to be cool, I end up in

Arizona did you move and not tell us about the going away party

I'd be out riding if it weren't for the generous layer of salt the county seasoned the roads with. This target could have been hit at anytime, I didn't say it had to be single digits.

So what's this mean Joe ? You wouldn't be backing out of your commitment to buy MY trailer would ya? You gonna pull that with your Prius ? They say those electric motors have lots of torque. Sweet looking trailer. Where we going ?

I have 2 pellet pistols, 1 is an old Benjamin the other a Sheridan, both are rifled barrel .177 cal. Either of these will drive tacks at 25-30 yards and do great at pickin off the pests. I prefer the Benjamin, 4 pumps gets their attention, 9-10 pumps and it's lights out. Rifles are a bit faster and more accurate but harder to conceal from nosy neighbors .

Just replaced ours after 14 years. The disposer still ran but one of the pins that held one of the paddles broke and threw it out of ballance. Put a 1 1/2 HP unit in that is quiet and will make iron car parts disappear! Way better than the 3/4 Hp taht died.

The best price I have found is at http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/4/Make/Yamaha Don't know what shipping might be. A call to them would be a good idea. -
I have been looking at the iphone, they come in 8,16,32,64 GB versions , how do you decide which is right for you?

Hate to kick a dead horse here but, kj5ix , that tank sure looks like more than 4 gallons. I was hoping to get 7-10 gallons in a reserve tank. Is there room under the body to fabricate a larger tank ? Pulling a trailer will put an even bigger hit on the mpg's .

Other hobby, thought some might enjoy the videos...

OK, now that you have it running, what are you going to power with it ? Might I suggest an old Radio Flyer wagon that you could use to run to the store in. A Road King pipe may make it sound better. -
Been there, done that.... Don't want to do it again ! Mine wasn't as long a slope but still did major damage that was not cheap to fix. The worst part was it came to rest nose down into a tree and I couldn't pull it up and off the tree, I had to cut the tree down with the small hand chain saw I kept in my emergency pack in the trunk.

I think I could reach the ground flat footed on that thing!

Joe, You go sit in the corner It's not nice teasing the Northerners like that.

This part is no longer available I sent out at least 100 emails to dealers all over the country looking for a set, got back a few replies saying the are not available. They are available for Royal Stars but are different, no notch for the idle speed knob. Good luck with the search and if you find them and they have 2, buy them both and I'll take a set. I tried calling Preferred Power sports last month and their phone is dis-connected.

The globe feature only works when I'm using IE. I am using Chrome almost exclusively and the globe mapping feature does not work in Chrome.

You may want to be wearing a helmet when you do that.

who has ever riden a 1st gen on snow covered roads
ragtop69gs replied to saddlebum's topic in Watering Hole
Back in the late summer (Aug-Sept) of 2010 we were riding through Yellowstone and got caught in a snow storm, just enough to cover the roads with an inch or so, the RSV handled it much better than I did The worst part of it was the wet snow that piled up on the windshield blocking my view of the road. It was at dusk and had been raining for the past hour when it turned to snow, I had to stand on the boards and wipe the snow off several times. We made it to West Yellowstone, where we had a room waiting, cold , wet , hungry and tired. We also got snowed on earlier in the day on top of beartooth pass. I was there in '09 and it was near 100* ! What a difference a year makes. -
OK... if it doesn't get hit within a week then it's your turn to set the target
-
I had thought this would have been won by a bird hunter or fisherman quickly. At everyone's request, I will set a new target.. If you remember back to summer, we had a target of you, your bike and the highest temp on a thermometer, since it's now approaching winter let's change it to the above target only with the LOWEST TEMP. Please be careful in attaining this target, frostbite or falling on the ice is cause for disqualification. Happy riding.

Yep, this forum does cost WAY more than the $12 I was led to believe when I joined. I'm always reading about others upgrades then saying to me self, I gotta do that too :mo money: Kinda sounds like you have more invested in the lights and horns than the bike cost !

What is it with you and LIGHTS ? First the house, then the car! What's next? Please don't mess with the big light in the sky.
