I sent a request for a demo ride. Don't think I'd buy one but I will try it out.

Groundhogs are skittish, sneaky buggers, the best way to get them is to learn there habits which isn't hard, they seem to have the same routine day to day. Setup as far as possible from them, with a clear straight shot with a safe background incase you miss your shot. You need to be waiting for them, be a still as possibe because they will run if they see you. I stand in our indoor porch with the door already open waiting for my shot when it sticks it's head/ body out from under the barn wall. We get 1 and another takes it's place within day's.

Go back to the scene tomorrow and look for the blood trail. If you hit him good he's probably not to far off the road. They run a little way then lay down, usually they'll bleed out while laying there. Sorry about the truck. That's an expensive way to get venison.

Since it's hunting/fishing season in most parts of the country, let's go for you, your bike and a deer, bird or fish that you or someone else bagged. Hopefully not gotten with your bike.

But aren't work lights a flood light? not a beam that would reach out into the darkness?

Here in Michigan it's not that big a deal to get a VIN, You build the vehicle, apply to the DMV for a title, they set up an appt., take it to a state police inspection station along with all your receipts. They do a safety inspection and if everything's OK they issue a VIN tag that you apply to the body or frame. I have done this with 2 dune buggies that I built.

15 K for a new body made with today's coated steels and more precise assembly methods isn't a bad buy. I wonder, does it come with a VIN number or would you need a state issued VIN tag ?

My buddy that lives outside of Red Lodge, Mt has so many lights on the front of his Yukon it looks like a Locomotive with it's mars lights on. Turns the darkness into daylight for almost a mile up the road, yet, he has still hit 2 deer.

Or, I know where there's a 52 Buick that would be a prime candidate for a ground up resto. Everything's there, glass, trim, interior. very little bad rust. The guy wants 3K for it.

Congrats on the new ride. 3 wheelin is fun. I wish ours had reverse. So far it hasn't been needed though. You are right about the learning curve ! It's completely different than riding a 2 wheeler. Since we bought ours, I have had it out twice and cornering is gonna take some getting used to. Be mindful of the extra width behind you, it will be easy to forget and catch a post at the pumps or run a wheel up over a curb.

Step out from behind that mountain that's blocking your view.

I remember being up in Wawa back in the 60's and seeing the waves of color washing across the skies, it was truly an awesome sight that I'd love to see again .

Can't see them here, too much light pollution from the big city .

Yer livin up there in the hills, I'd substitute the Boones Farm for some good ole mountian mash, if ya know what I mean Prime Tube Steak deserves top shelf beverages.

We live on a lake and have sea planes and helicopters flying in and out all the time. They come off the lake and turn right over our house so low that at times it looks like they're going to hit the trees in our yard We've gotten used to it over the years and don't pay much attention to them anymore. They do poker runs and party hops with the other pilots in the area, at times there may be 5-6 planes anchored out front of one of their homes. Must be nice. I have gotten a few rides in them though.

Some day's are better spent in bed, eh? Watch out, that old coot will probably want to sue you for stopping at the crosswalk. I'm happy that neither you, nor your scoot sustained any damage
