  1. I have been following this thread with interest because I don't know JACK about how electrical circuits work. The question that comes to mind is, why were those over-sized fuses put in? What problem were they covering up and why would it all of a sudden cause the diodes to fry ? Seems to me you may have another problem you need to deal with. I defer to those more knowledgeable . Goose, your technical diagnostic ability never cease to amaze me
  2. Hey there BIRTHDAY BOY Jeannie & I hope your day is full of fun and all things good :Crazy_139::Crazy_139::Crazy_139::Crazy_139::Crazy_139::Crazy_139::Crazy_139:

  7. I have to agree. When ever politicians try and legislate things they have no understanding of they only create bigger problems. Just look at what they did to the mortgage industry and housing Now they want to tear down the Tech industry! More job loss and dependence on the Govt. dole. Please don't turn this into a politics debate. STOP SOPA & PIPA HR3261 & S968
  8. Here is where we buy all our blower wheels at work. They may have what you need. They ship quick and have great customer support.
  9. I have this one for sale but, it's in Michigan.
  10. I agree with Brian. Your outgoing mail server setting is wrong. Account type could be wrong also. Fix that and it should go.
  11. Fairly accurate with names too !
  12. Tom, I may need some lessons on this approach, our first grandchild is expected in about 3-4 weeks.
  13. Congrats on the new addition to the clan. Enjoy her now. Before you know it she'll be wanting to borrow the bike.
  14. When the last shooter squeezed one off, did you see the paper on the next bench ? Blew it right off the bench !! That rifle is good for a sore shoulder for a week or so.
  15. 12 Oz. curls
  16. Look at places that sell chain boxes and tool boxes for the back of Semi Tractors, they have a variety of aluminum boxes, one may fit your needs. You could modify a 250 gallon fuel oil tank that was used for home heating, the kind they make pig roasters with but they weigh about 100 #
  17. Kidd Rock was also almost a neighbor too, he was looking at a place on Union Lake. Actually Segers address is in Orchard Lake.
  18. The chassis is a 79 Dodge Power Wagon. The engine is a Dodge 360 with a mild performance build.
  19. You have 2 option here, the first is to cut out the offending parts and replace it all or you can take the easy way out and repair the leak with Plastex. I know a lot of people will say No to this approach but the plastex will work good here. I used Plastex to repair 2 leaking pipe joints in my hot tub several years ago and they are still holding tight. My leak was in a joint just like what you have. Hot tub plumbing see's a lot of thermal changes and shocks from pumps turning on and off, so in your application where there is no pressure or shock it should work good.
  20. Just ride on over we'll get a few shots for you
  21. Not out of focus at all. That's my new paint job for the Hippy Fest concert this spring. Think I'll call it Purple Haze
  22. I have not done anything yet to trace the problem, it'll have to wait till the weekend. Can't ride anyway, it's gonna start here tonight
  23. I borrowed a FLIR i7 Infrared camera and did some scans of the bike. Interesting, as I found that my left rear cylinder is not firing. These pics were taken in this sequence, Cold, 1 minute, 5 minutes in this order. FR, RR, LF, LR. Each pic is time stamped, the date is wrong. The left rear is dead. Readings at the spark plug also confirm this. Also notice the lower temp at the exhaust pipe on the left. pic 247, 249, 267, 276 are all of the left rear. Now to figure out WHY this cylinder is not firing. I'll post all the pics and maybe it will help someone who knows how to read an IR pic.
  24. :rotf: Yep he still can rock & roll. Bob lives about 2 miles from me, we see him in store around the area every so often. He's a down to earth, nice guy. Did he do any of his old, old stuff like 2+2 and the like ? In spite of his bout with throat cancer he still sounds pretty good.
