  1. Mine is ON in the crank mode unless I shut it off with a switch I also like being able to turn it off while playing around with different projects while working on the bike and needing the key on as well. Ruffy: I mounted mine on each side of the 12 volt acc plug. not sure now what amp rating maybe 30? and made sure the switch handle was kind of long so I could feel it when reaching down into that area.

TREATMENT: was go home and take 600 ml Advil every 4 hours for pain . my pain was on the right upper side under ribs. man it hurt to breath. Hope you get better soon. Jeff

  8. Most think it is fixed with a brand new basket but after putting some miles on the bike it will come back over time sorry to say. Note: all my basket change's, there was no whine for the first couple hundred miles. PM the person or persons and ask them how the sound is now days. Just my two cents worth! Jeff

  12. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51870 I have had 5 baskets in mine already. did it until I found the right rpm range to be in. just be above 3k rpm and you won't hear it. to bad some of us have to do this though. I just learned over the years how to make it go away while riding. otherwise your pretty much stuck with it, unless you see the bike. Good Luck, Jeff
  13. Wide with some down road.... didn't think that the reg running lights were that great as they kind of just had the dull yellow light out-words. but boy they can see ya coming now

  17. Seems to be doing just fine. I had the same concern as well. but after talking with the guy that has been doing it like this for 10 years. I went for it. LOL. Heck I might even add 2Oz of motor kote in the cocktail mix next time.
  18. I did switch back to plain old Rotella 10/40 Dino... and I also added 8 oz of STP. An old trick a guy has been doing on his RSV and it now has 220 K on it. Sounds Much Much Much Better Now. The Amsoil I have been using over the years seems to make it SCREEM More. (AND NO CLUTCH SLIP) tranny shifts real nice as well. Jeff
