    Just had my Venture seat rebuild by a great lady. Anderea, she has a seat company here in Calgary, it's PowerSport seats , very reasonable. Installed a gel recovered and repaired the foam. So comfy now . She does custom work to match your bum. http://www.powersportseats.com/

    Well, After my second no start because the battery had lost it's juice, I finally installed the high output mosfet regulator. The AAA, gave me a boost (Boy I'm' glad I have it!) I was getting Burger's after my night shift. well I thought it might do this RRRR click click.: So I got back to the garage and tore into her found the side cover leak I had fixed it as well. Boy what a stupid place for a voltage regulator!! So I will find out later today if it works Sorry no pics I was a little pi#sed off. but now its' done. Cheers Mike R. In Calgary..

    Hi gang , looking for an aftermarket shock. Can the fine group here suggest a quality shock ? Going to the koots and after doing a long trip to Toronto, Ontario..so, I need a good ride for my toochie, one thing I reupholstered the seat with a gel as well. Thanks much appreciated.     She's a 1983, noticed the voltmeter doing the jump up and the radio getting full AC ripple and from past Gold wing experience, I knew that the Regulator was f$$ked. So check out Old Bike Barn and Jack. the parts were discounted at OBB Mike R.. Calgary.. Pictures taken at Sunshine Valley Banff National Pk. Alberta..

    Well I'm' going into the fray'. I bought my stator from Old Bike Barn $129.00 shipped. I also bought high output mosfet regulator:pushups: from JACK M FLEMING JACK FLEMING 17252 HAWTHORNE BLVD # 222 TORRANCE CA 90504-1032 not to endorse but he personally called to make sure I received the product and I did, cost shipped 130.00can, same reg you all have bought,with new ot 5 cable and great instructions. Just waiting for the OBB to finish going through customs. My 2 cents . Mike R..

Tractor supply, Ford distributor restrictions for pulsations,(Available also at Napa ,Car quest) @eight feet of 1/8 windshield washer hose, and some of the knowledge gathered here.     You are not the only one to have their bike tip; Well, two weeks ago, with new leathers on and the second ride, I was exploring Banff. Alberta, Into the town I drove have done this many times. BUT, this was different. It was the second time I had explored the fabulous Château Banff Frontenac. drove up the driveway past this huge statue and into the rear where the parking was as I didn't need to stop. I started a turn not seeing the very fresh and nor placarded wanning of any kind, Pea gravel place over the left lane lower asphalt, @3 mph; down and ejected off the Venture @ 4 ft. smashed my Shoe helmet engine revs, I get up,hit the kill. many passersby saw the adventure and helped Mule righted to her side stand. I was amazed the hotel had done this without warning's of loose gravel. Made a incident report with a reluctant security head. checked over my mule and drove off with a splitting head ache and dirty new chaps an rocket agatt. pissed of but she is old and only has PLPD on her. neck still ache. glad your steed is back up..Mike in Calgary..

    Go though the gears with the engine on, use the centre stand if you can get it on this will confirm the transmission is working. I don't think the bump damaged the drive. But could have damaged the shifter, the claw that engages the shift drum may bumped out or the push pull pall . anyway thats a good way to change the tires or oil (sic) sorry. hope one of the gang here helps...

    My unit (if I can find the d*&m thing)flashes once or twice then it died the funky chicken. Yamaha wants $119.25 for it and their fish is crappy on the location. My ? is there an aftermarket replacement of would some kind soul have a spare to part with..Thank Mike R.. 1983 Venture. PS thanks to all in regards to the Regulator problem. I found one and it's in the post..
