  1. Hey Don, I hear you. It's Easter Sunday and snowing like crazy. Looks like another week or so before I can even get out of the 900' Driveway. Later-
  2. Hey Scott, I feel what you mean brother. Been in two bike wrecks, totalled one, the other is minor. Five car crashes, tottaled 3. The last one was head onto the cement divider wall on I-69 & I-75, car flipped end for end several times, and ended up in the ditch covered in snow, they found me 8 hours later. Yea, I'm on Barrowed Time. I truly believe that the good Lord takes us when it is our time. And if we are lucky, we don't suffer to much. I to have lost friends due to bike wrecks. Even seen a close friend get hit from a drunk cager from behind and thrown 100' to his death, holding him in my arms trying to get him alive. For a long time (14 years) I did not ride because of that. Finally, after all the kids were about grown, I realized I needed to Face that Ghost, and Live Again. I needed to do something I used to Love, and here I am on this site with all these wonderful people. Been ridding again for three years and Love Ridding. My only regret is that I gave it up for all them years. Later- P.S. You would be missing that "Pretty One".
  3. Mini, having a Tip of the Day right now for you and everyone else. May we all have an Irish Blessing today. Later-
  4. Hey Ron, congrads. We became Grandparents for the first time also this year. On Feb 3rd to wonderful baby girl. I call her my Super Bowl Baby. Later-
  5. Hey Bob, we are also going to the Grand Canyon, but in late August. Let me know how your trip turns out and what we need to plan for, if you would. I can hardly wait to get out and ride around here also. Later-
  6. Our Prayers are sent to Mark's Family, and to you Ken at this very difficult time. James & Charlene
  7. We should hav lower prices.
  8. Brian, I guess the biggest Questions is, will you be ridding Solo or Two Up? I sold my 04 V*1100 and now own a 03 RSV. Dave, a good friend, had a Nomad and we would switch bikes. The Nomad was a nice bike, quick enough, and comfortable like the V*. But for long distance trips Dave grew tired of not having enough space to put things and the better half wanted more comfort. They sold the Nomad, bought a HD-Ultra Classic and are still trying to get comfortable on that. Both are big people and I feel they should have bought the RSV and been much happier. Oh yea, last night having coffee, Dave mentioned his warranty was about up and he is thinking of buying the additonal 5 year warranty for $1,800., standard on RSV. Buy what you feel is right for your ridding desires, your always Welcome here. Later-
  9. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with Mark & Nancy.
  10. Hey Craig Congrads. You will love the 2nd Gen. Later-
  11. Hey dray, I've seen that big mean dog you have, no way your going to take his dish. Well, unless you have treats. This only happened since you became a flat lander. :rotf:
  12. Todd, sorry to hear about Greg. Good friends are hard to come by, you were both lucky to have shared such a great bond. May God Bless his family and you.
  13. Hey Don, Realize you don't want our money right now, but a list of who wants one I'm sure will help. I will take 2 Patches. Later-
  14. rainearc Congratulations!!! As heatonmt said, It is a family here on this site. Remember not to ride it like a V twin. Let her wind out a little, other wise she will buck you. Enjoy one of the best keep secrets around. Later-
  15. Kurt, Glad you are okay. It must be painful, but your going to make it. Sorry to hear about the bike, but it can be fixed also. Keep in good spirits. Later-
  16. Maybe just a rumor, but I heard they are comming out with a lighter frame, that way they can put in 8 track tapes along with cassetts. Later-:rotf:
  17. Doing good here but having withdraws. Like TJ said its been a long winter here in Michigan. Had another 4-8" of snow last night. Looking like July before it will go away. Did go out and start up sweet thing for awhile today. Sure felt good to at least listen to her run-ah, that V4 sound with Fishtail Pipes, loud and smooth. Ridding out to Grand Canyon in August. Later-
  18. Thats nice dragerman and Redneck. But don't forget about the "Pretty One" Painted Silver first, then BeachSand & Raspberry. Not a cherry, but a great looking berry. Later-
  19. Hey Ken, Understand. Good Friends bought a new 07 Ultra last year. Both Dave & Maria are large people so Dave moved the trunk back 2"+. Went on a 700 mile trip and switched bikes for a bit. Charlene (5'3" 125 Pounds) was not impressed with the HD passenger seating. Not nearly the same room for passenger. I liked the way it handled and the quickness, but she was not impressed at all, and very happy to switch back to RSV for rest of trip. Later-
  20. Hey bud, you can still ride. I'll put on the saddle, slap the horse a$$ and away you go.:banana: Later-
  21. Up here, I would rather wait till rain washes the salt away. BUT, the excitement always gets the better of me and as long as the roads are clear, the tempature does not matter. I've done 200 mile trips at 7 degrees, just bundle up. Just prefer clear roads, it's not as much fun or safe riding the RSV on Ice & Snow. Later-
  22. Nick, sorry to hear about your friend. You did the right thing and everything you could to help. Good friends are hard to loose. We are getting hay this weekend for the horses. It's hard work sometimes. Our Blessings are with you and your friends family.
  23. Thanks everyone, yes she will be spoiled. Wife already put in for a week off work to spend spoiling her. Wasn't due till the 27th. Something tells me she likes football, wanting to come out and see the superbowl. Maybe buy helmet & shoulderpads, first girl in pros? Already have car seat, have to work on helmet. Later-
