  1. I was thinking of flyinfools idea. But make it out of steel sort of like a large D-rings and just slip it under each end. One come along to lift it up in the center Brad
  2. In what an hour Brad
  3. Good luck and if you get a good deal on the price you will only be that much happier. Welcome and hope to see some photos soon Brad

    Life is Good!

Sounds like an interesting job. Congrats. BRad
  5. If looking at a US bike that still has warranty, as mentioned it is not honoured in Canada, but there is not much to worry about. Shock, ignition switch and CB unit have issues but you could always drive across the border for a couple days vacation, for the repairs. Other issues are so minor not worth bringing to the dealer. Test ride on and then decide. Good luck with what ever you choose BRad
  6. GaryN just got back, I am sure he will chime in BRad
  7. Finding it is the easy part, try adjusting it, or the radio station ? Mel someone pointed the switch out to me as soon as I bought the bike lucky me or I may have not found it for a while. Brad
  8. I had a 2300 cc once, but it was in a Ford Tempo
  9. Pretty wild picture. Wonder how many times he fell before he got good at doing that Brad
  10. Upshifted a few times, worked fine, but it was only because I forgot to pull in the clutch, just one of those moments. Not something I like to do does not seem right on a bike. Brad
  11. No, that is many stories Brad
  12. Good advice. I would go with CB's. If the bike does not have one J&B sell a decent one for motorcycles. If used correctly can be a safety device. Welcome Brad
  13. Agree. Over the winter I take them out and charge it fully during the day, then every month I recharge it. A few weeks in the garage I do nothing and a good battery will not drain that much. Brad
  14. Glad to hear ! Still think he should use a hat next time. Brad
  15. Mike you are a little too far away. Thanks for the offer Hig4s now that could start one of those first gen second gen things here. I am not arguing kinda ticks me off too, but it is just starting. The fading and peeling bothers me as well. Brad
  16. Does anyone know someone who paints trucks. I have an 04 trailblazer which the clear is peeling, slight paint fade, and some rust starting at the bottom of the rear doors. Truck does not have 60,000 miles on it. Phoned around here and the numbers seem a bit high, Four grand, Ouch, plus our local 13 percent taxes. Would be willing to drive it somewhere Northern Ontario, Michigan, New York. Any Ideas ? Brad
  17. Very Sorry to hear, that Sucks. The place that had your truck should have some sort of Business Insurance which I would imagine the claim should go there first. Hope it works out for you Brad
  18. If you don not have a transponder you get charged a "Video Toll Charge" on top of the distance charges. I think it is a little over 3.5 bucks everytime you use the highway. They will reverse the charge if you are on a motorcycle as you can not get a transponder for a motorcycle. However you have to call them and remind them of this. Brad
  19. Thanks Brad
  20. Where and what did you end up getting ? Brad
  21. Yup I missed it but have no clue where to find the updated list either ? Brad
  22. Not sure what he is going to do with it, The floor boards look too close for him Brad
  23. May have a winner for the first gen owners, who have to try and convince everyone they are faster. Brad
  24. I would need an english version of the report. Brad
  25. If I am not mistaken you can purchase just about any after market radio and install it in the bike. Get a decent one that you can plug a MP3 player into it. I think you would be out of luck on the intercom though. Not sure but others may have an opinion Brad
