  2. OK as of yesterday I went to Harbor Freight and now own a wheel chock, tie downs, and extra rear wheel chocks! Also bought some extra stuff. I need to stay away from that store...
  3. Yahoo for me. I'/ve tried others but didn't like them. But "Yahoo" doesn't sound very professional either. Maybe you should check out Big Daddy dot com...

  5. No idea but sure is a nice loking hack...
  6. Yup! By the time we finally got there, after all the other roads we took, it was actualy mildly boring! Got pictures of us towing a trailer thru it with a twisted hitch. Leaned really good one way but not the other way...
  7. Yah! With the exception of the breaking an ankle part, we've all done it (self included)! Heal fast, brother...
  8. Yah! Take the 2 wires that goes to the horn and connect them to the primary coil of the relay, and you should be good to go. It doesn't matter which wire goes where as the couil has no polarity. As you have stated, one relay contact goes to 12volts and the other contact to the plus of the horn. The minus of the horn goes to ground...

  13. Yah! Type II with periferal neuropathy in all 4 extremities. Lost a toe to the disease a couple of years ago. I have to wear gloves or the vibration drives me crazy. Still can keep my balance usually even 2 up but have dropped it a couple of times, so that's why I'm going to trike...

  18. OK I am now a proud owner of a Carry-On 6 x 10 trailer to be delivered by Mar 3. Yah, Harbor Freight is probably where I will get the Chock from or perhaps JC Whitney. I plan on mounting the chock as far forward as possible but Yes I will take the cordless dril with me. I also plan on tieing it down in several places such as the crash bars, passenger grab rails, etc but NOT the handlebars, they get bent waaaaay too easy! Now, for protection I have been thinking of wrapping the bike with blankets secured with bungees or rope and then a cover over the whole thing. Somehow I feel the soft blankets, secured, will not flop in the breeze like a tarp or cover would and damage the paint...
  19. Awwww, I thought maybe you needed a place to park the Venture, or the sports car, both of which I would always make f room for in my garage...

  23. Hmmm, drink holders, but they are essential! Satellite radio, no, that's essential too! Lotsa lights, no, essential as well especially as safety iterms. Same deal for the air horns. Sooooo, that leaves chrome, lotsa chrome, and stuffed animals. My wife is essential, cause if I drop it I need her to help lift it back up...
  24. OK after checking availability and delivery time, I am now going with a 6X10 trailer from Lowes instead of a 5X10 from Tractor Supply. We are now talking an extra $400 but besides the guaranteed fit, it has wood floor and 15 in tires instead of 13 in. I get the hitch instaled on Mr Monte next weekend. Now all I need is a good wheel chock...
