  1. The weight loss looks great on you and I'm one that has strugled with it my entire 58 yrs but I'm not real sure about the lavender bike though.
  2. It was a UK based bike forum but the Trike is here in the USA somewhere, at least by the picture of the Flag Pole in the background.
  3. Simply put and in all honesty, the bottom line! DON'T LET YOUR LITTLE HEAD SPEAK FOR THE BIG HEAD. We all tend to get caught up the macho ego life of HD. I rented a Street Glide over Thanksgiving in Beamont, TX and took a ride to Galveston Beach with my Step Son on his Night Train, nice bike but the vibration wore me out after only a few hour ride. Liked the bike but then reality and logic set in and for long distance rides I'd never go back to HD. Before I'd buy a new Street Glide I'd take a very hard look at the new Stratoliner Deluxe because when I look in a mirror I want to see what I need to see, not a blurr.
  4. I know this may not really belong here, but this thread gets the most attention and I'm truly trying to find out if anyone knows who's bike this is OR, who's trike kit it is. If you look at the second picture, there's a USA flag in the background so it should be here in the country, not the UK like I originally thougt because it came off a UK Bike site. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Damn, I need to get my eyes examined. I found it on a UK Bike site but check out the flag in the background on the second picture. I don't think to many people in the UK are flying a US flag on a pole on their property. Ok, need to dig deeper, somebody out there has to know this guy and where the kit came from.
  6. I wrote the webmaster for the site to see if he knows but have yet to here back from him. From the other picture I have, it does not seem to be '4' wheels down but can't tell for sure. The simplicity of it using the original bags and such is what has my interest but I'm thinking it may be an overseas kit and the cost of getting it to the USA may make it to much when one can still get a Triwing for about $7K.
  7. Ok, all you experts out there in 3 wheel land, who can tell who's kit this is? Found the pics on a UK motorcycle website. http://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/Custom/yamaha-venture-royal.jpg
  8. If you havn't yet, check with you local Yamaha dealer, I ordered and got a new one from the one I work at
  9. Ok then, I guess I'll have to wait until the next round of manufacturing.
  10. Condor, Hate to sound stupid but I read the entire thread and my question is, does this fork brace replace the factory one? or, is it in additional one. My '88 has a fork brace on it already.
  11. Keep the part numbers. Your local Yamaha dealer has the ability to do a search through his "Find a Part" on his YDS system to see if any dealer is sitting out there with any NOS -parts or accesories. You can also do a part search on the yamaha-motors.com search for a part. One never knows, it may be something they're still using on a current model run.
