Best you check the regulations first. You could probably do that on line.

Oh my Rick...gonna tell Nina on you.

So when do you get your matching storm trooper outfits to go with the bike?

When I was in England I visited Tintagel, ( King Arthur) and they had suits of chain mail for sale. I thought that would be neat. Paint the helmet to resemble an old metal helmet and wear the chain mail. Problem was they had " one size fits all" which we all know does not fit most of us.

Why would you need a handgun in Canada? It is lack of information which leads to events like this. We can bring in hand guns so long as we get licences and register them. There are many hunters who come to Canada and there is a procedure in place for bringing in their rifles. I believe you may be able to put a gun in bond if you are going from the US to Alaska. It is when people who have not done their homework and try to lie their way through that problems occur. If you really want to piss off a customs agent on either side of the border just lie to them. I have gone to the local gun club and shot different types of hand gun. It was enjoyable but I cannot justify the cost of owning what is basically a toy for recreation. My toy is my Venture, and the Merc, sold the sailboat.

Now if they would only use it on leaf blowers, lawn mowers, etc.

I would be interested.

Wobble recovery?
Sailor replied to alvald83's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I have never had a problem with the Venture but I did have it happen once on my Madura ( Suzuki's answer to the V max). I just leaned right forward as far as I could go and braced my elbows against my ribs. I let the bike coast and with my arms braced between the handle bars and my body and my weight on my arms the wobble stopped. It was rather exciting..don't want to do it again. -
I have LA Chopper bagger ovals. I wanted the Vance and Hines ovals but they would have cost over $1000.00. $800. for the pipes and the rest in shipping and tax. Instead I got the LA choppers. Less than half the price, all included. They are louder than I wanted but have a nice rumble at idle and cruise while they get loud enough to make Harley guys run for cover when you hit the throttle.

What's a lete and how do you delete it? Is it like being alert because the world needs more lerts?

There are some days I wish I could delete. In fact there are a few years I would like to delete.

The DNC service does not apply to charities, political parties or to any company that has previously called you. It only blocks new telemarketers. I simply do not answer the phone, all calls go to the answering machine. If by mistake I do answer because I am expecting a call at that time I just say "Just a minute" then put the phone on the table and walk away. I hang up later.

There is an open grid metal bridge near here which I hate. It grabs the front wheel. It is also single lane and I have had cars come across while I have been half way. I also hate the worn wooden bridges that are well worn and very slippery, also mostly one lane.

Stebel Locations
Sailor replied to droptoppop's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I now have a Wolo which I want to mount in the stock position using Silver T's bracket. I know nothing about electrics and I understand I need a relay to keep from burning out the original horn button. What do I need and where does it go? -
who has ever riden a 1st gen on snow covered roads
Sailor replied to saddlebum's topic in Watering Hole
I rode my yammy 400 through about of 6" of snow. It was only about 10 miles but it was all up and down hills. I never want to do that again, in fact I didn't want to do it then. -
Got done up in my Legion uniform and went up to the middle school to give a speech on why we have Remembrance Day and what it means. About two hundred kids. They were very respectful. Gave interview on local radio later in day on same subject. When I was out selling poppies the week before I noted that a lot of young kids brought their parents over to make a donation. My wife organizes a pancake breakfast before the ceremonies. We served about 130 in two hours. Carried out duties at the cenotaph then up to the Legion for open house. It was packed. I noticed that the local media gave much better coverage of the events and veterans than they have in the past few years. We owe them a debt which can never be repaid. The best we can do is to keep their memory alive. Lest we forget.

If you want to avoid getting the flu or any airborne disease just eat lots of raw garlic. People will stay well away from you and you have less chance of catching anything.
