  1. Oh boy, Boomer's gonna be sad there weren't no wimmen pics in there!!
  2. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. The computer is currently scanning with AVG in safe mode. As soon as that and I check it out, I'll try the remaining ideas. I told my wife this morning that I'll get alot of help from VR.org members & that I trust them more than anyone else out there.
  3. I'll give it a shot and let you know the outcome. Thanks
  4. I had adaware on this machine at one time, but pulled it due to a problem. I have spy sweeper and avg on there now. Either of those ok?
  5. flb, I have her unit in my lap as I type this. I've restarted in safe mode, but malwarebytes won't open. Any other ideas?
  6. Here's my problem & I know some of you guys here really know your stuff. Hopefully you can steer me in the right direction. My wifes computer has a virus. I thought I had it all gone, but apparently not. I ran avg and it flagged a trojan. I guess it could not get rid of it. I have tried to run malwarebytes, but the virus has disabled that program. Same thing for Norton. As far as I can tell at this point (been working on it all morning) I can open any web site including foxnews, google, etc. The problem is that when I try to use the search function from google or any for that matter, the virus will not allow me to place a cursor in the search box. I can place a cursor in the address bar no problem, just not in the search box. Malicious little buggers they are! I'd like to get my hands on one of these guys just once. Oh by the way, I tried to uninstall/reinstall malwarebytes, but it still disabled it at reinstall. Any help anyone may be able to give me would really be appreciated. It's an old computer, but we just can't afford to replace it right now. Thanks,
  7. I've been following all of the ct posts for some time and will probably go the way of the dark side on the next rear. What air pressure was required to get it to bead up?
  8. Envy & Jealousy. I know they're 2 very bad sins, but that trailer would look so good behind #107/1500.
  9. Just got home from doing 1,900 miles round trip to Ocalla, Florida. During this entire trip I saw a total of 3 RSV's. One of them had 2 guys riding on it. It was a group of 4 or 5 bikes. There was a GW trike with 2 women. Go figure........
  10. I don't trailer Yet, I say touch her up, hook her up, and let her roll. Do it the way you want, the way you have been and enjoy the trip. Be careful out there.
  11. "Ouch"
  12. I've have to give these just one more bump. Rode the bike to work today (65 miles one way) because I wanted to see how well these did at Interstate speeds. I have the shorter clearview shield and so there is some buffeting due to that, but I always felt that the majority of the "shirt slapping" I was experiencing was coming from between the front fairing and the lower cowling. Hence, I wanted the deflectors to take care of that. Boy do they. There is still enough air that comes around the fairing to move the shirt around and keep you cool, but my shirt is not annoyingly slapping at my neck and chest like it used to. So far, some of the best money I've spent for an add on to the RSV. Besides that, they look awesome on the front. The fill that void and make the front end look beefier.
  13. What's the name of the river?
  14. Wow, these are awesome. Got them put on tonite and man, they really add to the front of the bike. Can't wait to try them out on our way to Florida this weekend. My compliments to him and his friend and the quality product they turned out. Way to go!!!
  15. Got my deflectors. Great looking product Ruffy. Perfect timing too. Headed to Orlando this weekend and it'll be a good time to try them out. Question, do they bolt to the passing lamp bar in existing holes or do I need to drill & tap there?
  16. They look so dang long! Be like backing a semi out of a parking spot.
  17. I have the same & like it. Really easy to move from the bike to the car too. You get both mounts with the unit.
  18. Thanks to gibvel, I now have one!!!
  19. This is not an easy thing for me to do, but I feel like it's necessary. I've already taken care of this with Yammer Dan. A couple of weeks ago there were some comments made in the forum regarding insurance. To keep it short, I took offense and got really mouthy. That's not normally like me. I was out of line and regret doing so. I just wanted to apologize to all of you. Won't happen again.
  20. Thanks guys, appreciate the quick response. I'm ready to get this all back together.
  21. I'm getting ready to put refill my rear end oil. I bought Lucas 75W-90 synthetic that says it exceeds service level GL5. Will this work ok?
  22. I don't know about you guys, but I learned my lesson several years ago about buying a first year model, whether it is a motorcycle, car, or truck. I'll let em get the kinks out before I'll even consider it.
  23. according to Kawa site 16,800 to 17,800
  24. Knew this sounded familiar. I now possess 2 extendable mirrors. Don't ask me why I need 2, but it definately works.
  25. Give these plugs a look. One of the best kits I've ever had. Really well made. I've got a set in my saddle bags. Excellent instructions come with them. http://www.stopngo.com/motorcycle.asp
