Atlas Shrugged / The Fountainhead Lord of the Ring Trilogy Various SciFi. One of the latest ones I read was by Justina Robson (Keeping it real), very different writing style that I can't just breeze through.

At some point I may add a crouching tiger to my inside left forearm to compliment my dragon on the other arm.

got about a inch and a half, some light snow left but i think we're about done. For what it's worth, idiots down here can't function if you breathe the word snow:stirthepot:

O.K., I've asked Don and he is at a loss on this, which in itself is troublesome for me; but I figure maybe some of you other IT's may have an idea. I am using Security Shield for virus protection etc., yet I'm getting a number of spam e-mails every day with my spam control set to maximum. Each day is a different sender and they all use an addy linked to a domain name(different each day). It's not that there are a couple of hundred but it's annoying nonetheless. So far I've used one to block future mailings and deleted the rest. Anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this permanently let me know! Thanks!!

master brake cylinder 83VR
barend replied to barend's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Earl, Would I need a MkII master cylinder or a MkII rebuild kit? does the MkII cylinder work with a MkI reservoir or would that need to be exchanged as well? and lastly (for now), do you (anyone) have one? (does MiCarl sell these things??) -
You think???? It was so loaded with commercials it was ridiculous and the first half was booooring!!!!! Second half was only marginally better. And no, I didn't care who won!

master brake cylinder 83VR
barend replied to barend's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Would I not have at least some spongy braking with a bubble?? Probably need to rebuild the master cylinder anyway 'cause that's the only thing that was not cleaned, replaced or rebuild (supposedly) when I got the bike a year and a half ago. -
Go to Florence SC, the denture capital of the southeast and get a new set for a couple hunerd.

master brake cylinder 83VR

went for a ride today and discovered my foot brake bottoms out with no discernible braking action. I do not appear to have any leaks (no spots on the garage floor), so I am figuring the master cylinder is shot. If someone has a good used one they want to unload let me know, otherwise I'll be going the rebuild route. Thanks! -
A friend of mine has his Tahoe financed though Wachovia Dealer Services. due to his own fault he has had to deal with the collection department. In October he authorized a draft to get caught up, which they ran on a Friday; then ran another the following Monday. Now it says he has a bounced check (on an unauthorized draft). He offered to let them draft his account to the tune of $250/wk to get caught up, which they refused, he's made three moneygram payments and paid for immediate delivery; none were posted to his account and the last one he made was not posted for a week after they received the money and only because he faxed copies of the money gram. Wachovia bank will not accept payments on the account because they have disassociated themselves from this group. Can't pay online because the account is not listed as current and they won't accept a phone pay either. And the person they say he's supposed to talk to isn't in .......... Bottom line: don't ever finance anything with these guys!!!

cool looking set up for a MkII. Like it better then the Hannigan or tri-wing maybe if there is enough interest you can do a group buy? Other option may be to see if there are any active military who are moving back stateside. Pay them a little extra and have it shipped back by Uncle:confused07::confused07:

No, not me! I thought I'd pass this along though my knowledge is not complete. I received a letter from business associate the other day saying he was going to have prostate surgery, I found it disturbing because one of my customers had this diagnosis and went into hyperdrive to find alternatives to the standard surgery/impotence and a bag. He came up with several options, one of which involved cryogenics and the other which he ultimately chose: focused heat -burn the suckers! Since the FDA had not approved the procedure yet (It's been used for ten years in Europe) he went to the Bahama's to get this done, he still has a prostate because the treatment was targeted to cancer celss, he is not on a bag, his potency is at 95% (with the help of cialis) and should the cancer return this procedure can be repeated again and again. On top of that the insurance paid 90% of the treatment cost. (Which of course may go out the window with universal healthcare) So for us guys who are faced with this, I would urge you to consider alternatives before agreeing to going under the knife

Could've been Dano. Already have the cable upgrade, but proly should look at the starter though turning over is not a problem per se, she's just not catching especially when she's cold. (leave it alone guys ) Plugs are good though.

Went by the shop today to get a new front tire and while there i inquired about battery prices, I was planning on ordering one online for $85 but since the shop was going to charge me the same thing, why bother?! Here's the point, the battery I bought did not have a probe, However!!! the probe cap from the old battery fit on the new one so I now have a new juice box with probe. for whatever that is worth..... I should maybe fess up that I had not checked fluid levels on the old one :whistling:and two of the cells were about an inch low, two were at or just below the low mark and the remaining two (including the one with the sensor) were still OK. Kind of defeats the purpose, to have a sensor and it only reading one cell. Might explain why the battery seemed weak:doh: Bike still was hard to start when leaving the shop and the mech said it sounded like one of the carbs "just kicked in". he said it was interesting, maybe one of these days i can get to a MD and have someone with more sense give me an opinion:scratchchin:
