  1. Here you go, you bunch of codgers!! http://www.wompusracks.com/
  2. If you know of any pond builders around there, see if they'll give you a scrap of the pond liner. 45 gauge EDPM, should be able to cut one to fit. If you can't find any lemme know i should have some left over somewheres
  3. Since most people here are of the male persuasion you're going about this all wrong, lemme hep yah! How tall? Age range? How skinny? Color hair? Long/short? Chest size? The bigger the more guys would've noticed! Nice rear end? Flirty? Striking attributes? Try that and see where you go, who cares if the hubby had a nice a$$
  4. golfers elbow:confused07::confused07::think: I played golf one time (in '75) and this is what I get ...:bang head: Good thing i never like that game!! I like that notion of light duty too!! Hey Boomer! Sent me some of them pygmies... Thanks for the info guys, I'll medicate up, stretch, rub, ice, take a vacation (well, maybe not:depressed:) and as a last resort look into a cortizone shot.
  5. Same thing happened to me when my Ex asked "does this dress make me look fat?" Dave why's your ex asking you if she looks fat:confused24:; second thought, why were you at your ex's so she could ask that question:stirthepot: :scratchchin:Never mind, I prolly don't want to know:D:D
  6. sign says it's closed, better check on that ...:stickpoke: file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Barend/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.png
  7. I'll try the icepack for a while, see what happens. I get weekly adjustments so it's not likely pinched nerves and I don't do well with some drugs. Uncle Arthir?? yeah, thought crossed my mind, just no stiffness just annoying pain. And I'm not getting older; getting wiser ....
  8. got 16K on my rear tire, I think it's a Commander, will look tonight and correct if necessary. as far as wobble, i have a HD forkbrace and as long as I keep the front at about 45psi I'm golden -- but then I do have a sidecar Oh, and I called the dealer on replacing the rear, I think the guy picked the first number over 100 that came to mind. told me $170 to change it, ... plus tire:sick: Only $25 if I just bring him the wheel! Yeah right, I'm all over that!!!
  9. Alright, I'll throw this out here and see what peculates up. For the past couple of months my left elbow area has been acting up. Not sure if it is the joint or muscle. Clutching sucks and is painful. Picking a cup/sugarbowl of the cabinet shelf is uncomfortable at best and flexing my arm after having it in a steady position (like riding) for a while definitely gets my attention. I can't quit work (duh!), I can't switch hands, I've tried a tennis brace, auto clutch might be nice but won't make the problem go away , advil doesn't do anything and chiropractic adjustments don't help either. Anyone had this and what did you do to make it go away? Thanks!
  10. something supposed to happen there????:confused07::confused07::confused24::think:
  11. sucks don't it?? My insurance called that 6 foot cave under my front lawn "Settling"; obviously it is not covered.
  12. Growing up we used to have Marmite. According to Wikipedia similar but the british version. Careful how much you put on there
  13. My stepson told me Sears is having one on sale; I looked and they have several models starting at $70.00. Can't attest for quality.
  14. contact information for a guy I think can help Pete. I used to have the info but lost it when my drive crashed and since I don't use intercom/CB (yet), I haven't bothered to ask John for it again. I'm sure Pete will share what he finds out. btw, Pete, John's out of town this weekend.
  15. there was a '99 R1200RT sitting in the showroom in Dahlonega for $3995 with only like 45K miles. ABS was out I think. Pretty green(ish) color. RandyR should be able to get you the contact info if it's still there. That or a LT would be my choice too if I'd get a new bike
  16. My wife says she actually feels safer in the sidecar then on the back of the bike. I am not arguing:whistling:
  17. Pete, I'd go for an extension cable, or maybe splice in a tertiary outlet for the chair. Might not work if you carry two people wanting to talk to you at the same time but that may not be bad
  18. Yes, yes and yes!! you can put them on a rack if you wish, or a shelf, or in a cabinet, closet or whereever. they have infinite speed adjustments and you have to manage what you put in the port:witch_brew:
  19. right leg burning left leg cool I had heat issues on the right side of my bike. (think I dubbed the thread "hot, hot, hot") turned out to be cracks in the exhaust down tubes for the rear cylinders. So if it isn't plugs, you might want to wrestle the downtube out (drop the exhaust and remove brake master) and check real close around all those useless little bolts welded into it. replace all seals while you're there, you don't want to do this too often.
  20. On a side note: how many miles can one expect out of a 8" tire (480x8) I have one of those on the sidecar and already had to replace the tire. No sign of scrubbing or uneven wear.
  21. We had a pit once, our neighbors and people from the neighborhood would taunt it and throw rocks and sticks at it. The dog was in an electric fence and could not get closer then 25 ft. from the road. She "vanished" one night. Great dog! Yes, she was protective, as the UPS guy found out when he was piddlefarting around about leaving; but it was our miniature Dachshund that led the charge when Brenda told the guy to 'Move'. Oh, ... he was fine, didn't dillydally around anymore either when he needed to make a delivery at our place. I'm sorry you lost your dog, it has apparrently colored your judgement. Funny thing about life: it happens. As a sampling, I've had a cat torn to ribbons by a German Shepard, another was killed by three of my neighbors dogs, our Dachshund was killed by neighbors dogs (of course he was too stupid to realize he should back down) and I've watched a neighbor run over another of our cats. I didn't write letters to the editor, I didn't demand justice, I didn't call for the licensing or "control" of certain breeds (mutts included), I dealt with it and moved on! I have to wonder though, what does it say about a person who feels the need to walk his dog with a loaded gun in his hand? Respectfully,
  22. I ran into a former employee, the one who told me he used to text while riding his crotchrocket down the interstate. He, at the time, told me he quit riding cause he didn't want to kill himself. Well he started riding again, crested a rise going into a very shallow turn (his words) which he missed due to excess speed (110+mph). He went of the road and hit a 4x4 with both shins, both legs broken and hanging by the calf muscle. Since he lost his phone in the crash, he had to drag himself back to the road and wait for someone to flag down. He lost his left leg below the knee, has a rod in his left femur, a rod in his right leg, scarring from a trach (sp?) -- he was out for several weeks-- and and some other "minor" scarring. At least he was wearing a helmet. He has a prosthesis on his left leg, they had to replace the rod in his right leg with an antibiotic one due to infection which will be switched back to a regular rod this week and they will have to do something about the shin bone not growing back. But he's alive! So much for one upmanship and reckless driving. At least he knows it was his own doing and he does have a good outlook on his future.
  23. one of mine broke so I inststalled a zip tie. Started off doing it the inconspicuous way by wrapping it around the tab and keeping it hid from sight, now I just loop it over the outside. Unless you are looking I doubt you'd notice.
  24. That looks like it would be it, I'll send you a PM. thanks
