    FYI

FYI, I just listed 2 J&M headsets in classifieds under electronics.
  5. Dave--Welcome to the site. I just took 404's off my 86 this spring. I had the howl leaning the bike over also. Dunlop EII were not available 2 years ago when I needed tires. I have always run Dunlop's. Went to the E3's this spring and love them. All good advice on the front end. I haven't replaced the springs in my forks yet,but only have 36,000 on the bike. (Sat for years because of the kids.) Where in Ohio are you? I'm over by Toledo. You thinking of going to the rally in Indiana? We went to the International last year and had a great time.
  6. Very nice looking bike. Wishing you many happy miles.
  7. If you could find a wire shelf from an old refrigerator, that would probably work also. Some recycle places mabe.
  8. Between this thread and Lilbeaver's, things are really getting interesting around here. What's going to pop up after the International ???? I'm guessing something to do with Cupcake
  9. James--called about the bike I know of and he said the whole exhaust was on it. He was suppose to call me back Fri. with how it looked, but he didn't. I'll get with him Mon. for sure
  10. I know where there is a MKI in a MC junk yard right now. I'll go over today and see if they have the collector and if is any good. Wish me luck guys James--any other parts you may need? Let me know and I'll check for you. Don't worry about cost,we will figure something out.
  11. Don--I bought my 86 VR new and its been paid for, for a lot of years. I would take it anywhere at a moments notice. Love that bike! That why I still have it in the barn and still ride it. Found a deal on the 09 Ultra, couldn't pass it up.Its a great bike. Different ride than my touring crouch rocket. If anyone could bump the Yam. engine up to say 1800 and put it in my Ultra frame along with the liquid cooling and shaft drive---Make the bags a little larger (wider)---it would be almost perfect for me.
  12. Hope he wasn't trying to give you a sponge bath. Oh wait, cupcake was going to handle him
  13. I suppose you'll be keeping that "oldgoat" in line and laying down the law. Making him behave and such------How about Goatbuster We could get you a big squirtgun to shoot him with when he acts up.
  14. Really like the color
  15. I'm saving these----I couldn't help myself. Of course I'll probably still get some good natured ribbing.
  16. Come on Cupcake--you are so big and loveable, helpful, attentive, not a mean bone in your body. Maybe you should have your new name put on the back of the trunk on the HD:stickpoke::rotfl:
  17. By now boss--with this bunch, you should know not to be so gullable. Can't ban him for having fun. You'll get him back someday.Years later, let him worry. Glad you have a strong heart though (and a good one also) Wish I could have been there to
  18. Dianne---Thanks for keeping us updated. Still thinking of all of you and wishing the best. You are family now that you posted. Keep after him to get well and the both of you can start coming to meets. When he's well enough, maybe you can take a laptop to him or print these and read them to him.

  22. Don--Just wanted to say thanks for having us all. Just sorry I could only spend a few hours their Fri. Not long enough for sure. Met some new people and remet some from the rally last year. Its nice riding in and having everyone treat you like an old friend.
  23. Man, that rough--Put the laptop in front of her. She can type out grocery list for you along with household chores for you to do. Then she can go to Venturerider.Org and keep entertained. Hope she feels better and mends fast. You both will be in our thoughts.
