  1. Yea, getting a new computer wouldn't affect any of those things. You can log in from any computer and it will be correct.
  2. When he delivers it. At least that is how it was when I worked for a Chevrolet dealership.
  3. Maybe somebody will have one but it is very common for them to break. Many of us have purchased the stainless steel replacements from Diamond R Accessories. http://www.diamondraccessories.com
  4. Very good. I know you have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it. I briefly took classes in Tae Kwan Do and then later another karate that I don't even remember the name of and I know it's a lot of hard work. The second one that I took for a while seemed to be a bit more offensive than the Taw Kwan Do was. I wish I knew what it was called but it was a long time ago. One thing I remember was that there was a red belt, I think between brown and black but I may be wrong.
  5. One quart is way more than enough. You can change it several times with one quart.
  6. Hey Barry, just click on "thread tools" at the top of any thread and then "subscribe". Then you can later go to the UserCP and see your "subscribed" threads.
  7. Now that is funny.
  8. Yawn.....just another in a field of MANY V-Twins. It's the beloved V4 that sets our bikes apart from the crowd.
  9. HA...I did not take the pictures. The covers are still in the possession of AdChrome who will ship them to the winner.
  10. Yea, I meant to post a link here but forgot. The contest is underway. Go here to enter. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74684
  11. Maybe he is showing two different prices on different pages. I got the $300.00 right from his site on this page. http://rmsportmax.com/gateway.html Well, that link takes you to the home page. I then clicked on "Venture Products".
  12. OK folks, we are going to kick this contest off today. It will run for two weeks. I will draw the winning numbers two weeks from today at or around 6:00 PM. There will be two prizes and two winners. First prize will be a set of custom engraved VentureRider carb covers for the Royal Star Venture or Royal Star Tour Deluxe. This prize was generously donated by AdChrome. You can visit his webiste here: http://adchrome.4t.com/ The second prize will be a brand new 4GB Ipod Shuffle. This prize was generously donated by BVinson. Here is a link to one just like it. [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Apple-shuffle-Black-Generation-MODEL/dp/B001FA1NZA?tag=citofgamonlco-20]Amazon.com: Apple iPod shuffle 4 GB Black (3rd Generation) OLD MODEL: MP3 Players & Accessories@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31gS8%2BEjMqL.@@AMEPARAM@@31gS8%2BEjMqL[/ame] So what is the contest? I'm going to make it very simple. In the spirit of the season, I will ask you to post to this thread about your most memorable Christmas. The one that you have the most joyous memories about. I like these kind of contests because I think they help us to get to know each other better and bring us closer as a family. Now because I realize that we are a diverse group here and I don't want to leave anybody out, I'm going to allow any of you who may not celebrate Christmas to substitute a similar holiday of your choice and if you don't celebrate any holidays at all, then just the most joyous event of your life will certainly suffice. Now I know that some folks are better writers than others so though I encourage you to take this seriously and write more than a two word post, the winner will again be chosen randomly from all the entries. Also, regardless of how many times you post to this thread, each person will receive only ONE chance. OH...and one last thing. Contest is open to supporting members only. So if you are not a supporting member, you still have time to take care of that little issue. So there you have it. On your mark, get set, GO. Good luck to all.
  13. OK then....we have our winner. WOW...that was EASY. I'll send you an invoice. Actually, you can order a set from AdChrome at any time. They really look nice. OK folks, I have something in mind. I'll post details here in a bit.
  14. Yes, part number is STR-4NK27-15-02 This is the part number for the ball milled version.
  15. RMSPORTMAX is doing them for $300.00 exchange. That is where I got mine several years ago. Paul is great to deal with. http://rmsportmax.com/gateway.html
  16. I saw that last year and it's a great video and the message pretty much says it all. Thank you for reminding me not only of the video but the reason for the season.
  17. Hey...we are going to sweeten the pot a bit. BVinson has donated a brand new 4GB IPOD shuffle so we are going to have a first prize of the covers and a second prize of the IPOD. Still have to come up with a contest though. So here is the second prize. 18. This may be what you are looking for. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=41530
  19. Naw, that one was too easy.
  20. OK folks, it's been a while since we have had a contest. Thanks to AdChrome, I think it's time that we do just that very thing. Now I realize that this is a second gen/RSTD specific item but that's just the way it goes sometimes. So....we are going to have a contest and give this beautiful set of carb covers away to some lucky winner. Now I just have to decide WHAT kind of contest it will be. I'll be getting back to you soon on that.
  21. I agree. It's a Corbin. 99.9% sure.
  22. Maybe the answer to the deer problem is not a gadget that we put on our bikes, all have which have failed to work when scientifically tested. Maybe the answer is this: http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/11/27/electronic-deer-deterrent-could-prevent-over-1-million-accidents-each-year/?intcmp=features Will be interesting to see what comes from it.
  23. I actually installed stainless steel brake, clutch and throttle lines when I installed the Flanders bars a few years ago. I do have aftermarket horns that are plenty loud but mine are installed inside the fairing. The Twink covers are Yamaha brand. They are very difficult to find. Eusa actually came across this set.
  24. If she listened to me, we wouldn't be getting trees to start with.
  25. Do not.
